Predator of Evil
By Mark Nieves

Act One

FADE IN.

EXT. SMALL OLD ENGLISH COLONY TOWN- SALEM 1692- NIGHT

A fog begins to erode the town along with strong winds.

CUT TO:

INT. HOUSE OF THE LOCAL REVEREND- CHILDRENS BEDROOM

ABIGAIL and BETTY PARRIS lay on the floor of their bedroom both wearing black robes. The room is candle lit and theres a pentagram ink painted on their mirror. They have a small alter set up on their drawer with a black cat on it. They stab it with a dagger and roll their eyes back to their sockets chanting a spell in Haitian. As blood spilled from the cats stomach, they let some go into a cup. They take some of the blood and wipe it on their forehead, chin, and cheeks. They both take a drink of the cats blood, cut their palms with the dagger and hold hands. They meditate for 4 seconds and one lays on the floor with candles beside her. While they still hold hands, they put both their free hands on the moving piece of a ouija board.

ABIGAIL

                         Now what, Betty?

BETTY

We let the power flow through us,
                         Abigail.

AD LIB
(chanting)

Ghede, Ogoun, and Mama Brigitte, hear
us. We come to you with willing souls,
with blood used to show our plead. We
offer our blood, will, words, and souls
as our sacrifice to call upon you and
the dark elements. Fill your presence
around this town, around this house,
and around this circle. Join with us
in creating the evil to add to the
                         dark flow of destructiveness making
                         us powerful dark creatures. Bring
forth your drawing powers of evil
and transform us into your vessels, so
that all may be turned into the image
and result of your essence. This we
say with all our will thats free of
fear and doubt, which welcomes you.
                         The dark.

Betty sprinkles some herbs on top of Abigail that burst in fire in mid air.

CUT TO:

EXT. OUTSIDE- NIGHT SKY

Thunder thrashes across the sky as the hard winds blow the trees to a bent with all the leaves scattering through the air.

CUT TO:

EXT. SALEM GRAVE YARD- THUNDER FRONT- NIGHT

GASPAR SOTOMAYOR
runs through the graveyard whimpering and breathing heavily. His face is all bruised and his lip is bleeding. He trips and falls to the ground. Then, a demonic bloodhound came running and snarling in back of him and bit his ankle. Gaspar screamed but he kicked the hound in its face.

He got up and quickly limped another a couple of yards until another hound jumped right in his path about 8 feet away. It stood glaring and snarling at him. The other hound came running in back of him and stood 8 feet away glaring and snarling at him too. Gaspar grabbed his wavy brown hair in frustration. As both hounds pounced at him, he quickly jumped out of the way and the hounds started to devour each other.

Gaspar limped another couple of feet until he came across a mausoleum. He quickly got into the Mausoleum and strainly pushed a marble statue in front of the door to barricade it. He quickly limped to the other side closed the door and pushed a heavy stone in front of it. He walked to the huge marble tomb in the middle to rest his body on it, signed, and began to cry. All of the sudden, a big scary demon with red skin, yellow cat eyes, a long double chin, black claws, big bull horns, a fanged mouth, muscular features, and a long silk black cowl steps out from behind him. His name is
BORACUS, General of Hells Demons.

BORACUS

                         Poor Gaspar.

Gaspar jumps up and turns around in surprise.

GASPAR
(Spanish accent)

                         Boracus!

BORACUS

This whole situation must be really
                         taxing for you.

GASPAR

Do you really expect me to believe
that you care about my well being?!

BORACUS

No, I suppose I dont. But I can
say truthfully that the way you
                         defeated my demon hounds was
                         impressive. Only someone of your
                         former stature could have pulled
                         it off.

GASPAR

My former stature? How could you-
(his eyes widen) I knew you had
something to do with what happened
to me! What did you do?! I demand--

BORACUS

                         You demand?!(laughs) Youre in no
                         position to demand anything from
                         anyone anymore bastard! You should
have left well enough alone Gaspar.
You werent ready. You dealt with
dark evil forces that you had no
                         comprehension of. Forces far greater
and far more powerful than anything
you heard about in church. And now...
well, its safe to say that your
blood will ensure the rapid growth
                         of my destined dark powers.

Gaspar takes a concealed stake out and with a grunt tries to plunge it into Boracus heart but Boracus grabbed his wrist, snaps it back, and he lets out a loud whimper and drops the stake.

BORACUS

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!! The great
                         Predator of Evil. The generational
chosen one who fights the darkest
                         forces that threaten humanity. Ha,
ha, ha, ha. Without your powers
youre nothing but a weak mortal
who would die far faster than the
humans you protect. Its very humorous.
Your powers are who you are and
                         without them, youre a worthless
                         nobody.

Boracus grabs Gaspar by his neck.

GASPAR

That may be, but look at you. You
                         say that youre all-powerful and
belong to great dark forces. But
yet, you had to cast some demonic
spell to strip me of my powers just
to beat me! And the funny part about
                         this whole thing is,(giggles) you
                         actually think youve prevailed!
                         Youre already contemplating a victory
you havent even achieved yet. I
dont see any apocalyptic signs or
                         any drastic environmental changes.
Not even a slight tremor. All you
are is a demon that thinks hes a
lot darker and scarier than what he
truly is. And even if you kill me now,
another Predator will be sent to take
my place. And another and another
and theyll keep coming! Until they
wipe you off the face of Gods Earth.

Boracus tightens his hold on Gaspar neck.

BORACUS

All I need is your blood and it
                         wont really matter if another
                         Predator comes. Because by the
time hes prepped, the world will
be mine! You think about that. Think
about the fact that you failed in
your duty. Keep that in mine in the
5 seconds it takes you to die. And I
think its fitting for you to die
like the victims of the ones you hunt.

Boracus then starts to suck the blood out from his neck. As the life is drained out of him, Boracus drives his claws right through his chest. Gaspars body then drops to the floor in a wet plop. White energy swarms through Boracus body.

BORACUS

YES!!! THE HOLY POWERS OF THE
                          PREDATOR IS FINALLY MINE!!!

The energy glows bright as thick bolts of white energy shot out of Boracus hands and busted through the mausoleum ceiling and into the clouds of the thunder front where the energy widely dispersed.

CUT TO:

EXT. OUTSIDE THE HOUSE- THUNDERSTORM

As 2 thunder bolts thrash together, the smoke thats left behind is formed into 3 smoky demonic faces with electrical lines swarming all over their faces. They let out a wave of fog through their mouths that consumes the whole property in a thick blanket of mist.

CUT TO:

INT. THE BED ROOM

An electrical ball floats in the window and sucks the fire from 2 candles near the window. The ball divides in two as it speeds to the girls. Half goes into Betty and the other half goes into Abigail.

BETTY

(speaking in Haitian)

In the name of all dark authorities,
                         we invoke thee!!!

The fire in the candles intensifies as Abigail floats into the air. Bettys eyes glow with fire and Abigails eyes glow with thunder.

BEGIN TITLES. The DMX song STOP BEING GREEDY plays as the credits show. The title, Marcus: Predator of Evil, fades onto the screen. A couple of seconds go by and as the rap song continues, the next setting is introduced.

CUT TO:

EXT. SALEM HIGH SCHOOL- MORNING

Day clouds fill the sky outside Salem High School for Academic Studies as students wait in the dirty, vandalized, litter filled, basketball court for the entrance to be opened. Kids play basketball, talk in groups, shoot dice, smoke cigarettes, tag their names on the walls with markers, dance to hip hop music, make-out with each other, and rap in free lance style. As they opened the entrance (the rap songs fades) and the students go in, a young student,
RAFAEL DELAVEGA, is being cornered by a gang.

GANG LEADER

I heard you had beef with my man E!
That you blindsided him with some
brass knuckles and put him in the
                         hospital!

RAFAEL

Yo get outta my face! I didnt blind-side
no body! E is just lyin cause he dont
want nobody to know that he dont know
                         how to throw down propaly.

GANG LEADER

You tryin to diss of my man? How about
if we beat the shit out of you right now?!

The gang leader puts two fingers at Rafaels profile.

RAFAEL

If you dont get out of my face right
now, youre gonna be the one to get
                         beaten the shit out of.

Rafael snuffs the gang leader really hard in his face.

GANG LEADER

Oh, so you wanna try and be a loan
punk? (turns to his gang) Lets do
                         this shit!

CUT TO:

EXT. OUR HERO- WALKING TO SCHOOL

We catch the first glimpse of our hero
MARCUS PERON, the Predator of Evil of present day, making his way to school. He over hears a policeman talking to a man about odd occurrences.

POLICEMAN

Three more reports about these odd
                         occurrences came over the police
radio last night. One family reported
that their furniture was moving of
their own free will. A women reported
that her hair started falling out
after what she described as a white
spirit passed through her body. And
last night, residents say they heard
screaming, lion snarling, and a huge
struggle going down in Salem Park. Which
is exactly what we need with the
disappearance of the six locals on
                         our hands.

MAN

I heard that it had something to do
with some kind of satanic cult.

POLICEMAN

Well who ever is behind it is working
                         effectively mysteriously. We havent
been able to speculate any suspects.
                         And theres no logical explanation
                         for these odd occurrences. Its
almost as if, 1692 was happening
                         all over again.

ANGLE: MARCUS EYES WIDEN IN SHOCK

CUT TO:

INT. MARCUS ROOM- LAST NIGHT

The thunder outside thrashes very loudly as Marcus quickly strikes up from his sleep. He rubs is head and slowly gets out of his bed. He opens his window to see a rainy thunderstorm coming down hard. As he turns his head, he slowly turns back sniffing the air outside. He puts a stealthy expression on his face and just climbs out the window in nothing but his slippers and black silk shorts.

CUT TO:

EXT. SALEM CITY PARK- NIGHT

Marcus slowly walks through the park in the rain.

MARCUS

                         Theres something evil here. Some-
                         thing dark.

CUT TO:

EXT. THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PARK- A GIRL WALKING

VICKY COLLINS, a girl with more to this story then meets the eye, is walking down a dirt road. As she took out her keys, she heard a sound in the bushes. She keeps walking ignoring the sound. She hears the sound again. As she walked toward the bushes, a big light blue demon with red eyes, yellow fangs, and a little bit of white hair on its bald head pops out the bushes.

She lets out a loud scream but no one comes to her aid. She starts to run terrified down the dirt road. She bumps into two man.

MAN #1

                         Are you okay?

VICKY
(voice cracking)

                         Quick!, you have to run!

MAN #2

                         From what?!

VICKY
(voice cracking)

                         Theres no time!, go!

The two men look at her with confusion but the demon pops out from the bushes and scratches the first man in his chest. The demon scratches the second guy in his face by cutting off his nose, and kills him by ripping out his esophagus. The other man turns into a demon, sprouts bat wings, and lets out a high pitch yell. As the demons walk up to Vicky, they hear a voice behind.

MARCUS(O.S.)

                         Hey!!

ANGLE: MARCUS FIST CLOSING-IN HARD

The first demon flies back three feet from impact. All stand silent for a moment staring at Marcus. But the second demon breaks the stalemate by letting out a high pitch cry as it charged Marcus. Marcus catches the demon by its arms, flips it over, and it flies back hitting the bark of a tree in an upside down position.

The other demon gets up and runs toward Marcus but Marcus grabs it by its neck and throws the demon back. It lands on a wooden bench that shatters on impact.

The second demon leaps off the foot of the tree flying to Marcus, grabbing him by his neck, lifting him off the ground, and flying a yard back trying to strangle the life out of him.

Marcus kicks the demon off with both his feet and semi-flips upright. He delivers a cross punch and a right hook to the demons face. He then grabs the demon by its shoulders, leaps five feet into the air breaking the arch of a park lamp post against the demons head, and semi-leap kicks the demon in the face.

The other demon grabs a sharp piece of wood as it gets up and attempts to run Marcus through. Marcus shits to his right, then dunks from a strike attempt to his head and hops from a sweep attack. As the demon tries to run Marcus through again, Marcus make an opening to grab the wood piece, spins around to deliver an elbow strike to the demons profile, kicks it up the chin, and jabs the wood piece in its neck hard making a clean wipe. As dark blue blood spews out from the demons headless body, it hits the ground and bursts into a scatter of white spirits fleeing.

As the second demon runs up to Marcus, he takes out his holy dagger from inside his shorts and sliced the demon in its stomach, spins around and plunges the dagger in its back. The demon burst into a scatter of white spirits. Marcus looks up and sees that Vicky has totally disappeared.

CUT TO:

EXT. THE ROUTE TO SCHOOL- PRESENT

The Policeman and the local finish their conversation.

MAN

I heard that the criminals behind
all this are angel dust addicted
                         rioters who are kidnapping our
                         people for black ritual sacrifices.

POLICEMAN

What ever you do, be careful. Theyll
always strike when you least suspect it.

CUT TO:

EXT. OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL- THE CONFRONTATION

As the gang started to attack, Rafael takes them on one by one. He punches the first guy in the face. Then he punches the second guy in the stomach then his face, he does a double combo on the third guy, elbows the fourth guy in the stomach because he came on him from behind. But one of them hits the student over the head with a metal rod. As the gang got around the student ready to shoot him, Marcus comes on school grounds and says,

MARCUS

Hey guys!, I want in on the fun too.

GANG LEADER

                         Who are you?

MARCUS

Your worse nightmare. Now, I suggest
you leave him alone. He's a friend of
                         mine.

GANG LEADER

Word?, iight! You wanna get in this
shit? Dont expect to get outta this
                         un-sliced!

The gang surrounded him ready to attack. Marcus runs up and punches the first one in his face, gives a combo in the face to the next two, sweeps the next two off the ground, and gives a triple punch spin kick to the next guy.

The next one tries to stab him with a five-inch blade but Marcus caught his wrist, elbowed him in the stomach then his face, and twisted the blade out of his hand. Marcus hits the next guy with the blade handle right on his forehead knocking him out. Marcus knees the next one in the groin, spin kicks the next one in the face, throws the blade in the next ones chest, punches the next one in the nose then backhands him across his jaw.

Marcus flips over to the other members. As the next member runs up to him, Marcus catches both his wrist, gives him a head butt, palm punches him in his chest twice, and knocks him out with a jaw snapping side kick. As the next guy charges Marcus, Marcus immediately knee kicks him in the groin, delivers a forward punch to his face and flips him over by his sweater. The next ones comes delivering fours punches but Marcus blocks them all, kicks the guy in his stomach, spins around and elbows him in the back of the neck knocking him out.

Marcus blocks two punches from the next guy and cross punches him hard in the face so that he staggers to the side allowing Marcus to immediately handle the next guy. Marcus blocks three punches from the next guy, grabs him by the neck and pushes him back. He stands back in a fighting stance as the two block his front view. The first one charges Marcus an attempts to throw a jab but Marcus grabs his forearm, spins around sending the guy to the side as he knocks the other gang member out with a sharp right hook. Marcus then turns around and backhands the side guy in his face.

Two more come in front of him. Marcus double combos the first one and sweeps him off the floor. He palm punches the next one in the face and back flips so that Marcus legs kick him in the face with more force.

The leader comes running up to Marcus with a seven-inch blade. Marcus kicks the blade out of his hand into the air, spin chops him in his neck, catches the blade as it falls, and slashes the gang leader in the stomach three times. The gang left running dragging the body with them. Marcus turns to Rafael.

MARCUS

                         Are you alright?

RAFAEL
(shocked)

Yeah. But you--, I mean--, that was
                         amazing! I've never seen fighting
                         like that before!

MARCUS

Well when youve lived my life you
pick up a couple of things. I dont
think theyll be bothering you any
                         more. Take care of yourself.

RAFAEL

Hold on, wait! You just cant leave.

MARCUS

                         Why not?

RAFAEL

'Cause I gotta repay you for saving
                         my life.

MARCUS

                         Dont worry about it.

RAFAEL

Hold up! Do you go to this school?

MARCUS

                         Yes.

RAFAEL

Me too. Let me show you around and
introduce you to all the teachers
                         and students.

MARCUS

I dont know. I havent been in
                         school for a while and--

RAFAEL

All the more reason for me to show
you around. You have to get use to
                         it again, dont you?

MARCUS

                         Okay guy, you win.

RAFAEL

Good. By the way, my name is Rafael
                         Delavega.

MARCUS

                         Marcus Peron.

They do a pound-hug and walk into the school.

CUT TO:

EXT. VICKY SPEEDING DOWN THE STREET IN HER CAR- EARLY CLOUDY MORNING

She stops in front of a run-down apartment building. She rushes inside and up the stairs to her apartment.

CUT TO:

INT. INSIDE THE APARTMENT

Vicky begins to pack her clothing in a suitcase when a knock at the door startles her. The person lets herself in.

VICKY

                         Oh. Lisa its you.

LISA

Who did you think it was, a ghost?
Because thats what it looks like
                         you saw.

VICKY

Yeah, well, I had a rough night.
There are all sorts of weirdoes
                         on the loose.

Vicky sorts through her mail.

LISA

Oh, yeah. I took the liberty of
                         bringing up your mail.

VICKY

I dont know why I have so much.
                         Nobody even knows Im here--

She notices a letter addressed to Vicky Collins 282 Glendale Blvd. apt#1D. Lisa notices the worried look on the Vickys face.

LISA

                         Vicky?, what is it?

VICKY
(nervously)

                         Um, Wh--who sent this?

LISA

                         What?

VICKY

                         This letter. Theres no post-mark,
                         return address or stamp.

LISA

It was just in the mail with the
                         others. Lilly, is something wrong?

VICKY

Um Lisa, I think I just kinda
want to be alone right now.

LISA

Okay. Call me if you need anything.

Vicky quickly opens the envelope and pulls out a small piece of folded paper. She unfolds it to discover the words Were Coming written in blood. Her eyes fill with tears as she falls back against the wall.

CUT TO:

INT. SALEM HIGH- GUIDANCE COUNSELORS OFFICE.

Marcus is upset over his program.

COUNSELOR

Now just calm down Mr. Peron.

MARCUS

Why should I, Miss?! I dont know
what makes me angrier. The fact
that you put me in the alternative
academic program, or the fact that
you put me in the GED group of the
                         alternative academic program!

COUNSELOR

                         Mr. Peron, the alternative program
will help you get a diploma faster.
Instead of wasting time with electives,
                         minors, and mandatory non-credit
classes, youll be scheduled only for
your majors and will be here for only
half a day. If youd like, the school
can help you find a job--

MARCUS

I appreciate your generosity but I
didnt ask for this. I took an
aptitude test to get into this school
and my score was high enough to start
me off at the second semester of
senior year. The only reason why they
started me at junior year was because
of my low English scores and the fact
that I hadnt been to school in a
                         long time.

COUNSELOR

Okay Mr. Peron, we can just call up
your mother and talk about this matter.

The guidance counselor picks up the phone but Marcus puts his finger on the hang up button.

MARCUS

I am 18 years old. Ive been independent
and taking care of myself for 5 years.
I think were adult enough to handle
this without my mother coming up here.
She was the one who told me that this
school was suppose to be so great but
                         I strongly disagree.

COUNSELOR

Mr. Peron, we put you in the GED section,
yes. But the school and the GED classes
get similar work. You can go for your
diploma and if for whatever reason you
cant get it, you can still take the GED.
Your 18 years old and you havent been
in school for a long time. The best thing
for you to do is to get out of high school
as fast as you can and move on to college.

MARCUS

So your saying its mandatory for me to
stay in that program? Wow. The school
board really has faith in their students,
                         dont they?

COUNSELOR

The school board has nothing to do with
this. Its the schools choice. We prefer
that students in your unique situation
                         take advantage of this opportunity.

MARCUS

So this isnt a school board
                         requirement?

COUNSELOR

                         No.

MARCUS

And if I choose to be in the regular
high school, then I could stay cant I?

COUNSELOR

Well yes but... Why should you?

MARCUS

                         Why shouldnt I?

COUNSELOR

Well Marcus, youre not exactly at an
advantage in your life. Youre in high
school at a late age and your Puerto
                         Rican.

MARCUS

Excuse me? But what does that have to
                         do with anything?

COUNSELOR

Hispanics have the largest drop out
rate in the country. And most of that
                         Hispanic population is Puerto Rican.
The odds arent exactly in your favor.
Personally, I think you should just
take the GED and not even attend
                         high school.

MARCUS

Okay, I think I heard just about enough.
I really dont care what you, or the
school, or the board of education think.
Your gonna fix my schedule the way I
want it, not by your preference, and
Im gonna ignore the bias and racists
comment that I could easily have your
job for. Because if you dont fix your
attitude, I promise you that I will
track down every student you made that
kind of comment too and petition your
removal to the board of education that
will never have you in the education
profession again, do I make myself clear?

COUNSELOR

                         Ill make the changes ASAP.

MARCUS

Good. Ill report back to you at the
                         end of the day.

Marcus gets up to walk out and turns back to face her at the doorway.

MARCUS

Oh and Counselor, thank you so much
for welcoming me to Salem High in
                         such a comforting manner.

CUT TO:

INT. MARCUS WALKING INTO THE HALL- A CONFRONTATION.

As Marcus walks out of the counselors office, he sees a crowd build up at the end of the hall. Rafael and what looks like a gang member from this morning. A big guy by the name of
MATEO ESPINOSA.

MATEO

You brought an outsider into this.
You made matters worse for yourself.

RAFAEL

I dont care. I aint gonna have nobody
mess with my girl or me. The only
reason he joined in was because yall
                         was fightin dirty!

MATEO

Well now my man is dead and the only
way to pay for his life is with yours?!

RAFAEL

You wanna do this, I aint shook!!

As they hold up their fist, the crowd begins to cheer. So Marcus runs through the crowd and gets between them.

MARCUS

                         Okay, thats enough!

MATEO

Is this the guy that took my
                         homie's life?!

MARCUS

That doesnt matter. We gonna squash
this shit now, or I call the guards.

MATEO

What? You think guards can stop me?!

RAFAEL

I could take on this guy right now!

Marcus turns to the crowd.

MARCUS

                         Alright, shows over! Theres nothin
more to see here. Get goin. GO!!

The crowd groans and boos in disappoint while Rafael and Mateo stare at each other with very serious faces.

MARCUS

If you guys fight right now its
gonna take matters to the point
where its gonna be blown way out
of proportion. You guys could be
                         suspended until further notice if
I report this to the main office.
Alright... if you guys squash it
right here and now, Ill forget
about and we can move on. Rafael?!

RAFAEL

                         Yeah. Yeah, its squashed.

Marcus looks at Mateo.

MATEO

                         Yeah, whatever.

MARCUS

Fine. Its forgotten. Now get to class.

Rafael gives Marcus a hard look and walks away. As the guy walks away, Marcus grabs his wrist.

MARCUS

If you hurt him in anyway, youll
                         have to deal with me.

The guy pulls his arm off and walks away.

MARCUS

Get outta here and act like a civilized
                         Puerto Rican.

Mateos girlfriend Linda, takes a stand on this situation.

LINDA

I hope you know that you just made
                         matters worse.

MARCUS

                         What are saying?

LINDA

Rafael knows what he got himself into.
If you dont cooperate with Mateo
especially when you know who hes doin
what hes doin for, you get your ass
beat down with a thick bat. Everybody
knows not to mess with Mateo.

MARCUS

Oh please. Ive dealt with way worse.
So worse that you wouldnt be able
                         to comprehend.

LINDA

                         Whatever Marcus. Just know that
whatever they tell you is a smoke screen.
                         Their gonna fight.

Linda begins to walk away.

MARCUS

                         When? After school? Where? Linda,
                         where?!

CUT TO:

EXT. VICKY DRIVING IN HER CAR- LATE MORNING.

She parks in front of a convenient store. She goes inside the store and finds her old friend MARGIE at the cash register.

MARGIE
(surprised)

                         Oh my God! Vicky?

Vicky gives a weak smile.

MARGIE

Where have you been all this time?
Your mom has been looking all over
the country for you. Its been 6 years.

VICKY

Well, a lot has changed. What about
you?, I thought youd be in college
                         right about now.

Margie notices Vickys rose tattoo on her arm.

MARGIE

I was accepted to some but my folks
couldnt work it out. They got divorced
two years after you left so they pretty
much cant agree on whether rain is wet
let alone finances. I like your tattoo.

Vicky ignores Maries comment and takes out the note from last night.

VICKY

Margie, someone sent this to me.

MARGIE

                         Who?

VICKY

                         I think you know.

MARGIE

Vicky, please. Its been 6 years.

VICKY

Oh yeah. See, thats why I finally
came home. After so much time apart
from my loved ones I said Hey, why
not just go back. Well if this is
all over Margie, tell me why I got
attacked last night by 2 demons
identical to the one we encountered
                         at the witch house.

MARGIE

                         Demons?

VICKY

Yeah. Thats what the monsters are.

MARGIE

                         How could you know that?

VICKY

Lets just say that time on the road
opened my eyes to a couple of things.

MARGIE

But why were you attacked? After that
night we never encountered any of those
demons again. After the article in the
newspaper about Nick, Jeff, and Luke,
and after the funerals, we put it all
                         behind us.

VICKY

Oh really? Well if you put it all behind
you and forgot all about it, then you must
have not noticed that I was gone all this
time. Because it stayed with me all this
time and its still with me now!

MARGIE

Look Vicky, its good to see you and I
have missed you but I dont think we
should get ourselves into this again
especially if these demons are back.

VICKY

                         Theres something else Margie.

MARGIE

                         What?

VICKY

Last night, the demons were on the point
of killing me but I was rescued.

MARGIE

                         Rescued?

VICKY

Yeah. Who ever this guy was he had to
be our age or younger. He fought those
                         demons like Bruce Lee.

MARGIE

But those demons are too strong. How
could he have that kind of strength?

VICKY

I dont know. Ive never seen anyone
like him. We should show this to T.K.
                         Is he still around?

MARGIE

He should be. But I havent seen him
since last month, when we broke up. He
should be here in a few. Hes dropping
by some clothes I left at his place.

VICKY

Good. I have to call my mom to let her
know Im back. Does she still teach at
                         Salem high?
