I've been diving since 1987, and qualified both as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and BSAC Sports Diver. During 1999, having dived the Maltese Waters at least tenfold I decided to move up into a speciality area, and since photography is a hobby of mine I looked into Underwater Photography. With todays digital technology, the choice of which equipment to use was quite obvious since it is easier and far more advantageous to use Digital Video Footage to produce photographic shots of the underwater wonders. Let's face it, having the possibility of obtaining more than 25 frames per every second of film gives a huge advantage on getting that perfect shot ! I use Canon MV20i Digital Camcorder housed in a Quest PC Digital Underwater Housing capable of depths up to 350 feet. The housing is also equipped with Quest Aqualite dual lighting system with 200watts of lighting. |

Being married to a diving freak and spending endless nights listening to all the experiences of Chris' underwater adventures it didn't take me long to fall in love with the underwater world myself. I qualified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver in the summer of '99,and have since dived both in Malta and the Red Sea. Apart from Diving, my profession is that of a Ballet Teacher and I also study Sevillanas & Spanish Dance. We're both very outdoor kind of people and apart from diving our hobbies include Skiing & Snowboarding, Camping, Skydiving and anything that's exiting and done outdoors ! Chris is pictured above with my brother Sean (in the hood) and his girlfriend Ineke in Xlendi Bay, Gozo. They are also both qualified PADI Advanced Open Water divers, and have dived exotic places such as Fiji, the Great Barrier Reef & the Red Sea.

This is our son Jaz, who was born in 1998. He's as adventurous as both his parents and loves being outdoors and doing exciting things.
He's bound to be listed in the Guinness Book of World Records in the future for being the youngest person to scuba dive, snowboard, sky-dive, etc.. That's only if Chris gets to do his way with little Jaz !! He's definitely a water person since he loves being wet. Daddy has already been scanning the web for the smallest possible dive equipment, so Jaz might be ripping off his arm bands and going underwater before he can actually qualify for the PADI "Making Bubbles" course.
