| Katrina was born and brought up in London to an NRI Father and a British Mother. Her father is originally from Kashmir. When she was doing modelling in London, she came to the notice of filmmaker Kaizad Gustad and snapped an important role in his film 'Boom' .With her gorgeous face and hourglass figure, Katrina was flooded with modelling assignments in Mumbai. However, filmmakers were hesitant to sign her because of her linguistic shortcomings.She was even signed for Vikram Bhatt's 'Saaya' but later dropped from the project due to her poor Hindi. But She prooved every Critic wrong with successes in 'Sarkar' & 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya' |
