    Story:

Tyrant is Requiem's answer to the Braver, and all other advanced mobile suits to emerge in the first years of the post-war era. It is also an overdue addition to the organizations arsenal, providing an injection of fresh innovation that is desperately needed. In the past, Requiem has relied on military assets stolen or redirected from various factions that under their control. This has left their own supply of equipment extremely limited, and vulnerable. While Requiem's Phantom's, for instance, is a cutting-edge stealth unit, it is a poor combatant that generally goes to pieces in prolonged combat. Tyrant is designed to change all of this by taking the best elements of the Phantom and Braver, and combining them with the latest United Alliance technologies stolen from Hajime Heavy Industries.

The core of Tyrant's design is inspired by the Omega prototype. This is where the mobile suit gets its vernier layout, myomer bundling, and rail gun. All of these elements combine to create a mobile suit that is very agile, strong, and powerful. The addition of Requiem's trademark wire claws gives the unit a leg up over the arsenal of the Braver and other general purpose models, while the head-mounted spray guns fire a much wider field of light energy beams that are more effective than vulcan shells. From there, Requiem's scientists have gone on to include characteristics of the Phantom, giving the suit a high top flight speed and full atmospheric flight capabilities without the need for a modular backpack.

Though it represents the sum of many parts, Tyrant is still far from perfect. At best, it is a step above the Braver, or a front-line variation of the Phantom, specializing in speed, agility, and possessing the ability to pick up and use any mobile suit weapon instantly. Even with its Neo Titanium armor, the suit is still limited in its abilities to defend itself, and while it isn't fragile, it can hardly be considered groundbreaking in its sturdiness. Still, even with this slight failing, Tyrant is a force to be reckoned with, and a clear sign of Requiem's increasing strength.
