    Story:

The mysterious Valvalios Phantom (or Phantom, for short) is a powerful stealth mobile suit used by members of the Requiem organization. At a glance, it looks a lot like the older Aeshma Wing design of the Grand Cross. The obvious similarities in its sensor head and vernier arrangement are almost a dead giveaway of their relation. It is not entirely unrealistic to assume that Requiem either stole the blueprints from the Tresdemo Foundation, or simply recruited some of their staff members following the corporation's destruction. Regardless, the parallels between the Phantom and the Aeshma Wing end with the basics. For starters, the Phantom is even faster and more agile. Then, there are its other advantages.

The Phantom features one of the most advanced and cost-effective stealth systems created to date. Its Coloroid Mirage armor is a variation on the potent Phase Shift alloy created just before the first Space War. In this case, however, instead of charging the outer skin of the suit with a defensive field, coloroid shifting bends or absorbs light around it, creating the illusion of invisibility. In addition, the effect scrambles the unit's signature on practically every sensor bandwidth, making it impervious to detection. Thanks to the benefits of a nuclear power core, there are no limitations on this system's use. However, to prevent an overload, none of the weapons can be activated while the Phantom is cloaked.

For a stealth mobile suit, the Phantom is surprisingly tough. While the coloroid armor is not very durable, and affords the suit only a small defensive gain over the Aeshma Wing, its arsenal is a substantial step up. Two rocket-guided wire claws can launch from the Phantom's hips, opening to reveal a small beam sabre within each of them. Two beam weapons on its shield can alternate as either rotating beam guns (perfect for counterattacks while parrying) or long, curved beam talons. A standard sabre has been thrown in more as an after-thought to this arsenal, making the Phantom an incredible duelist. For ranged support, it must rely on a hand weapon; a rapid-fire beam rifle or cannon.
