Reinforce Bracer x 1: A modular neo titanium shield that can be attached to either of the mobile suit's arms. Typically, it can withstand at least one or two direct hits before losing integrity. A magnetic coating gives it a high resistence to most energy weapons, though it is still not very helpful when faced with large field cannons.
Beam Sabre x 1: A weaker variation of the beam sword, this weapon also creates a stable energy blade that is useful in close combat. More powerful than common heat weapons and other alloy blades or clubs, it has the capacity to usher in a new standard in close range armaments. It is also quite easy to replace and repair, though it does drain more energy from the mobile suit's electrical battery. When not in use, this weapon can either be stowed inside the Soldati's shield or on its back waist.
Mega Particle Launcher x 1: A heavy assault weapon that uses mega particle principles to fire a condensed, but very damaging, orb-shaped energy shot. This weapon is ideal against small and large targets, balancing high power with an excellent recharge time. An energy clip on the back portion of the bazooka-like launcher allows for fifteen shots before burning out and requiring a replacement.
Net Gun x 1: A bazooka variant created for passive enforcement and non-lethal captures. It fires a mobile suit-sized net made of fibrous steel, enveloping the target. Pikes on its edges can secure to surfaces, for added effect. Though useful, this device does have a short range, which limits its capabilities. An ammunition canister contains five shots.
Admittedly, the Soldati is not much to look at on the outside. Its outer shell is basic, and somewhat uninspired. Yet, at the same time, this mobile suit proves that, when it comes to mobile weaponry, looks aren't necessarily everything. This unit's simple exterior, for example, is composed of the new alloy variant neo titanium, a substance stolen from the Ark Nova militia. This gives the Soldati greater durability than its appearance implies, bringing it just a few steps short of some of the infamous Zodiac G-type mobile suits. Beneath this revolutionary skin are mechanics inspired by the UAAF's Leo prototype, albeit watered down for cost effectiveness.
The Soldati seems more and more like a child of the Zodica G project when one accounts for its default arsenal and options. Its connection to the infamous Gundams, however, runs deeper than armaments or frame mechanics. The mobile suit's operating system is based heavily upon combat variables and records downloaded from these prototypes, and adapted with a basic artificial intelligence. As a result, the Soldati is very user friendly, and automatically handles a number of duties that have to be manually controlled on Grand Cross mobile suits (ie. targeting and movement adjustments that account for the environment and ambient temperature changes, balance drivers, and even a few intricate movements). By simplifying such controls, the Alliance can retrain most of its mobile armor and walker pilots to use these improved units with minimal experience. This system will not only be used on future UAAF designs, but it has also been transplanted to units that have been captured from the Grand Cross.
