    Primary Equipment:

80mm Assault Carbine x 1: A redesign of the older 90mm carbine that makes it into almost a whole different weapon. The carbine has the high cycling rate of the old version, spitting out 10 shells with one burst, but comes equipped with single shot, burst, and full automatic firing modes. The ammunition has also been changed to a smaller 80mm round, mainly to give the pilot more ammunition to work with, and a more effective powder is used to increase the range and stopping power despite the drop in caliber. The Assault Carbine uses a 150 round Banana magazine and can carry 4 extra reloads, the rounds can either be armor piercing or high explosive, typically three AP and two HE magazines are carried.

Beam Sabre x 1: A variation of the beam sword, this weapon also creates a stable energy blade that is useful in close combat. More powerful than common heat weapons and other alloy blades or clubs, it has the capacity to usher in a new standard in close range armaments. It is also quite easy to replace and repair. When not in use, it is stowed on the back of the Jaeger's waist.

Miller Camouflage Cloak x 1: Named after the Grand Cross colonel that perfected it, the Miller cloak is draped over the mobile suit as any camouflaged netting would. Not only does the cloak help protect the mobile suit from being seen, it also contains many sensor-baffling components that scramble the readings on various electronics, such as radar, thermal, etc. This makes detection difficult and throws of many targeting computers, forcing pilots to aim and make corrections on their own. The main drawback of the cloak is that it is far from bullet proof, and a few well-placed shots will disable it.

    Optional Equipment:

150mm "Mega PSG" Sniper Rifle x 1: A large support weapon intended to put heavy well-placed rounds where they would do the most damage. It comes equipped with powerful optics that lets the shooter find and hit targets at very long range and through some of the worst conditions possible. The heavy round means that a single shoot could do considerable damage, it fires in a semi-automatic action and is fed by a 10 round magazine and there is room for five extra magazines.

    Story:

Introduced to the battlefield a few short months ago, the Aeshma Wing was intended to be the new frontline unit mobile suit of the Grand Cross. As obviously implied, its name is derived both from its pair of large vernier wings and its flight capabilities. Unlike its ancestor, which is forced to remain on the ground whenever it is under gravity, this Aeshma can take to the air and fly over obstacles and foes, adding a whole new dimension to its usefulness. It also clocks higher performance levels than the Aeshma Prime, averaging a 10% leap in abilities overall, though it has a 30% advantage in shear speed and maneuverability.

The Aeshma Wing also represents an aesthetic jump for mobile suits. While the earlier Prime model was a basic, humanoid machine that met the fundamental demands of its construction, designers have taken the time to make this new variation a bit more stylish. Its body and sensor head have been tailored after medieval suits of armor, complete with a crest-like sensor blister upon the "helmet." The inclusion of a heat sword rather than the older hawk furthers this mystique, adding definition to the martial flair of the Grand Cross.

Of course, the Aeshma Wing does more than just fly or look good. Its electrical battery, an upgrade of the original model installed in the Prime, has a greater capacity for supporting peripherals. While the basic life expectancy of the generator remains the same, between three and five hours, it is not as burdened by additional special armaments. This means that its top speed is not greatly effected, unless the large Bombard weapons are carried. Even then, however, any drop in attributes is offset by the gains in firepower, and balanced back out again when the weapons are depleted and ejected.

With the success of recent Aeshma Prime refits, it was decided that a few upgrades and options were also needed to keep the Aeshma Wing up to par. The result was an Aeshma Wing that would raise the morale of the under-appreciated and underused Grand Cross special forces. For starters, this new variant sports a long range sensor system. However, to keep the suite compact, it is specialized towards target acquisition and tracking only. Whether or not this is measure taken by the Tresdemo Foundation to protect their Aeshma EWAC production, or a genuine limitation, is unknown. Regardless, its systems, as well as its long range rifle and cloaking abilities, make the new Jaeger Wing an admirable sniper. This fact alone has helped the machine gain a great deal of appreciation and acclaim.
