    Story:

Genbu, the Turtle, can be interpreted as the mobile suit manifestation of humanity's inability to accept change. Designed and constructed by an anonymous faction within the Newtype Corps, this machine's ultra-sophisticated hardware places it far beyond the potential of the 50 and 100 series weapons that the organization usually deploys. Like its three mobile suit 'brothers,' it walks the battlefield with the stature of a god, tearing down any conventional opposition with its enormously powerful resonance weapon.

Influenced by its namesake from Chinese mythology, Genbu, having embodied the elemental forces of water and darkness, manifests its power through its control of gravity. Using experimental, and highly volatile, technologies to aide in its creation of artificial gravitational forces, and the Newtype resonance effect to disperse them, the Turtle God houses tremendous potential, even when compared to the other War Saints.

Genbu's onboard gravity generators are demanding devices that require the massive energy output of the Cerberus Core to function. Simply put, no other power source created to date can accommodate their vast energy needs. When active, these devices can project fields of intense gravity from any surface of the suit's body. The exact shape or form is controlled by the mental whims of the pilot, who can create very small and precise distortions, or let loose a storm of high-gravity 'riptides' that crush anything within their path.

As a weapon, gravity has several excellent potential benefits over conventional arsenals. It can be dispersed in a wide, enveloping wave that catches and crushes anything in its path. It cannot be stopped by beam shields, and it can splinter through most forms of armor just by applying enough force. Furthermore, Genbu can use it to destroy incoming projectiles and other nuisances long before they come close to hitting its armor. For those assaults that it still cannot stop, the Turtle God has four heavily plated shields that give it the some of the best protection of all the War Saints.

Genbu, like the other War Saints, accomplishes all of this with the help of both its advanced engine core and its Divinium alloy frame. The former is a previously unknown technology that tremendously over-matches the potential of standard Neutron-S Drives, using particle inversions and reactions. The latter is extremely durable, almost to the point where some conventional weapons are useless against it. It also acts as a form of resonance transmission medium, and is instrumental in amplifying the effects of the unit's primary weapon. As a final note, the Turtle God possesses a Divinium heat blade in each of its forearms. These weapons can deflect, and even slice apart, beams and particle streams, out-classing their conventional counterparts. If absolutely necessary, the suit can also come 'out of its shell,' if its armor takes too much damage, ejecting its heavy plating to make itself much more sleek and nimble.
