Influenced by its namesake from Chinese mythology, Byakko is a fierce, walking emblem of the elemental forces of metal. Its Meta-Matrix acts like transmission station for both mental energies and magnetic fields, merging the two together to create a very unique form of telekinetic manipulation. This influence extends to both refined and manufactured materials as well as raw forms of ore, opening a wealth of destructive possibilities.
The Tiger God can easily manipulate large pieces of debris, or even meteors, and use them in the same manner as remote weapon. Mental energies can be used to augment the impact behind just throwing the object, or channelled through the thing in question for a more creative use. A meteor possessing certain crystals and ores could be turned into a very primitive, but also potent beam cannon, for example. Likewise, tiny, microscopic particles of metal can be spread over a wide field and charged to disrupt or amplify sensors and communication.
Somewhat more innovative would be the manipulation of metal fragments, whether they are chunks of ore, old mobile suits, or something between the two, into heavy pieces of attachable armor. With its lithe frame, Byakko would easily be able to cover itself in an armored shell, and not impair any of its movement. It could also, just as easily, use wreckage to construct is own private army of drones, all tied to the mental whims of the pilot. With the range and power of its systems, the only limitations seem to be in the operator's imagination.
Byakko, like the other War Saints, accomplishes all of this with the help of both its advanced engine core and its Divinium alloy frame. The former is a previously unknown technology that tremendously over-matches the potential of standard Neutron-S Drives, using particle inversions and reactions. The latter is extremely durable, almost to the point where some conventional weapons are useless against it. It also acts as a form of resonance transmission medium, and is instrumental in amplifying the effects of the unit's primary weapon. As a final note, the Tiger God carries a simple, but powerful, beam claw that is included more for thematic purposes than practical reasoning.
