    Story:

After the Second Space War, a large amount of mobile suit hardware, most of it scrap, was left scattered over the Earth or just floating around dead in space. Both the United Alliance and Grand Cross governments were too busy with internal concerns to give a clean-up consideration, much of this technology was harvested by scavengers. A lot of it was reconditioned and resold on private markets, usually to mercenaries, independent colonies, or wealthy private citizens. Other bits of it ended up in the hands of pirates and slavers. While it's rare for whole mobile suits to be built from this junk, it has happened enough to become a concern for the Earth Sphere's governments, though only when the technology is in the wrong hands.

The Cadmus is a powerful custom-built mobile suit used by the leader of the Silver Thorn pirate group, as well as by a handful of other raiders and rogues. Officially, it is classified as a Vulture; a unit hand-built by unauthorized sources and used in criminal activities. The design originated from a "salvage" dealer on Illyria Beta, who sells the template notes out to just about anyone who can meet his price. It is hodge-podge of old and new technology, with the body of a reconditioned Aeshma Wing, the head of an Elint Aeshma II, and a pair of booster pylons usually mounted on small shuttles and starfighters. Despite its bulk, it is extremely fast, but not very agile. The suit can outrun a lot of things, but it has a hard time moving in-close.

Though it looks like a monster, the Cadmus' prime strength is its speed. Stiil, its arsenal consists of a pair of light shoulder weapons, heat knives, and a supporting beam rifle, all of which can be formidable. Missiles have also been hidden inside the two boosters, allowing the suit to shower foes with up to thirty simultaneous light warheads.
