Chapter IX continues the Forever Zero saga's move into the Colony Century universe, a world that combines our own classic story elements with fresh ideas and some new Gundam canon for color. Jumping ahead four years, our story continues in CC 094, where the events of the 090 war have left the Earth Sphere a very, very different place. Whereas Chapter VIII began in the midst of a brutal war, the IX opens amid a more sedate environment filled with the underlying tensions that come with a long, yet embittered, peace. The planet Earth is a nuclear wasteland, the colonies are the thriving hubs of humanity, and the memories of the war still linger in the hearts and minds of many. From this point, tensions began to rise, new players step up to the field, and the old return to continue their incomplete stories.
