These are the four chages against  DSAI heard in court today. If one is to look at them..they are NOT what one would say the reasons that causes Anwar to be sacked and later arrested..These are just small charges which developed from the bigger sin he is accused of doing The bigger sin would be  the sodomy and other sexual charges. The question now is...Why wasn't the sodomy and sexual charges heard in court first..if this is his crime should it the first to be heard and not the other lesser charge but instead the 4 "small" charges are brought to court ....I'm no lawyer but the 4 charges sound like they are being made up just to get to Anwar.....

 1. That he from Aug 12-18, 1997 at his official residence, at No 47, Jalan
 Damansara, Kuala Lumpur while as Deputy Prime Minister and Finance
 Minister had committed a corrupt practice whereby:
 He directed Datuk Mohd Said Awang, Special Branch Director and Amir
 Junus,Special Branch Deputy Director II, to obtain a written confession from
 Azizan Abu Bakar to deny sexual misconduct and sodomy committed by
 him in order to protect himself from criminal action or proceedings.
 As a result, Azizan gave a written confession dated 18 Aug 1997 to the
 Prime Minister;

 2. That he on Aug 27 1997, at his official residence while as DPM and
 Finance Minister had committed a corrupt practice whereby:
 He directed Datuk Mohd Said Awang, Special Branch Director and Amir
 Junus, Special Branch Deputy Director II, to urge Azizan Abu Bakar to give a
 written statement to deny sexual misconduct and sodomy committed by him
 in order to protect himself from criminal action or proceedings.
 Azizan gave a written statement as ordered.

 3. That he from Aug 12-18 1997 at his official residence while as DPM and
 Finance Minister had committed a corrupt practice whereby:
 He directed Datuk Mohd Said Awang, Special Branch Director and Amir
 Junus,Special Branch Deputy Director II to obtain a written confession from
 Ummi Hafilda Ali to deny sexual misconduct and sodomy committed by him
 in order to protect himself from criminal action or proceedings.
 Ummi gave a written confession dated Aug 18 1997 to the Prime Minister;

 4. That he on Aug 27 1997 at his official residence while as DPM and
 Finance Minister had committed a corrupt practice whereby:
 He directed Datuk Mohd Said Awang, Special Branch director and Amir
 Junus,Special Branch Deputy Director II to urge Ummi Hafilda Ali to give a
 written statement to deny sexual misconduct and sodomy committed by him
 in order to protect himself from criminal action or proceedings.
 Ummi gave the written statement dated Aug 29 1997.
