After long months of negotiation a deal is soon going to be signed between BibiSoft and their long time competitor ArafaSoft, managed by Yaser Arafat.ArafaSoft claim that they have rights on part of BibiOS source code, since this code was taken from them in an ilegal way.however, in this stage, BibiSoft is ready to give only 13% of the source code, and ArafaSoft agree for that
however, BibiSoft also require that the AMISH(ArafaSoft's MInor Stock Holders)will cancel ArafaSoft's policy who calls to the destruction of BibiSoft, but they do not agree for that, since the AMASH(MAjor Stock Holders) already done so
A source at BibiSoft told me yesterday that CigarLite(tm) is still under slow development, that's mainly due the S&D(Simple and Dummy) module scheme which still has lots of problems, but BibiSoft might release an Alpha version of CigarLite(tm) that will have a simple monolithic scheme
BibiSoft's news(BSN) is now online.BSN is a page which all BibiSoft's fans can hear everything going on at BibiSoft's, and since it's not maintained by the company itself but by a fan of BibiSoft it's going to be more objective than it would be if it was maintained by the company itself
BibiSoft's CEO, Benjamin Net&Yahoo have announced that the BibiOs release in year 2000 will be code named Cigar(tm), and that the company will soon release a simpler version called CigarLite(tm) that will work on personal computers and will be free as well, but will have much less features than the original Cigar(tm)
One of my sources at the development team has told me that all BibiSoft's products are written using Free Pascal, and not using C like we thought until now
There is a rumor at the bibisoft's community that the screen shot published at bibisoft's site isn't from Cigar(tm) but from an operating system called Linux, but that's just a rumor after all:)
