Hi: A common myth that most patriots believe is that the United States is a CHRISTIAN nation. The Treaty of Tripoli, (1797), chapter 11, says different by some of the very people who were there, creating this once great country. The ceremonys during the laying of the cornerstones for the US Capital Building were MASONIC ceremonys. This country is based on OLD TESTAMENT law of sin unto death; NOT the NEW TESTAMENT Law of the Spirit of Life. (Jesus' Law) So, how could it be a Christian Nation? Even in the chapel, the stained glass window does NOT have the likeness of Jesus! Washington, great as he was and still is, doesn't measure up to Jesus. Another misconception is "Separation of church and state". THE STATE HAS VIRTUALLY TAKEN OVER THE CHURCH. Many pulpits are spewing state b.s., instead of God's word so they can keep their "tax-exempt status"! (study IRS code; 26 USC section 503(c) carefully) It's dangerous and a severe conflict of interest. By the way, the book of Galatians, and early Romans has to do with law and Law and how it applies to us. Most King James Version readers don't know the difference between law and Law, or that there IS a difference. Read Romans 8:2 and see. Read Galatians 5:4 and see if you want to be justified by the law. The law justifys those who ENFORCE IT, not us. Your first Bible interpretation is wrong, so I didn't bother with the rest. Jesus, Himself stated when confronting the Saducees who did not believe in the resurection: God said I am the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. He is the God of the living not o the dead. You do greatly error.

Then Jesus backed up his statement at the Transfiguration, when He appeared alive with Moses and Elijah who were also alive. Your Biblical interpretation that we sleep until the resurection is wrong. "Sleep" is clearly a figure of speech used by Paul to describe the hope that we have in eternal life compared to the non-believers who have no hope.

The fact that we are alive instantly at death is also documented in the words of II Corinthians 5:6,7,8: We are willing to be absent from the body and present with the Lord. The fact of eternal life without a period of "sleeping" in the grave is also do umented in the Old Testament in Ecclesiastes 12:7 "Then shall dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it."

Your comments are very interesting. As far as Moses and Elijah at the transfiguration, I tend to think they were presented as a vision. Concerning your insistence that the dead in Christ begin their eternal life immediately after death, 1 Corinthians 15 makes it clear that our physical bodies will be resurrected. So that would mean that the dead in Christ are now alive as spirits, and then will be placed back into their bodies, the bodies raised and transformed into glorified bodies.

You're entitled to see it as you wish, but I still tend to think that the dead in Christ are now asleep. They are not aware of the passing of time. Thus, when they are raised, they will perceive it as being immediately brought before the Lord.
Many people who have been revived from being "clinically dead" report traveling through a tunnel toward a light. That tunnel might be across time as well as space (and maybe a few other dimensions we can't comprehend).

In any case, we agree that there is a resurrection and a judgement, and so we all must live as God commands to be given eternal life instead of eternal punishment.

JEFF - I agree with you about much of what you have written, but you have missed the mark about the Messiah's name. It is Yahshua, not Jesus. Yahshua means "Yahweh is Salvation" and He came to show us the way to a right relationship with the King of the Universe - Yahweh. They hated him because of his NAME - which told them he came from the Father. If you translate this name into English you would get Joshua. This is true because the Messiah came to fulfill the scriptures. The Old Testament is a shad w of things to come in the new. Joshua led the people into the promised land in the Old Testament, Yahshua leads the believers in to the promised land in the New Testament. Jesus - Iseus - is worship of the pagen diety Zeus.... the Name has always been he "KEY". Christianity has missed this - they baptize in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, but never tell you what that name is...IT is the "family" name YAHWEH..... and his son is YAHSHUA (Yahweh is Salvation).....

Jeff's reply: Those are good observations. The Messiah's name in Hebrew is Yahshua. The writers of the New Testament wrote it in Greek as Iesus, which would be pronounced "yay-soos". The original 1611 King James Version retains that spelling. Later editions say, "J sus." That's how the confusion came into being. I hope this helps clear things up.

There is one obstacle, though, living in Venezuela, a socialist country that means we, the ones who refuse to bend our knees before the abusive and all pervading state, are very poor. Perhaps that help would only be needed to begin it, but, in any case, I could not begin it without help.

We experience incredible hardships in order to simply survive, both at a pe sonal or institutional level, and the difficulties are even greater when attempting to initiate projects to communicate our ideas. I, as an example, am a university level professor - with a doctorate in political sciences - but I have been kept away for ears from the academic environment because I have been systematically denied tenure, and even any kind of teaching positions or newspaper columns. To survive, I must carry out chores much below my capacities, and that is, when I can find occupation.
< r> Since Christians here are as ignorant of the political implications and behavior requirements as the ones up north, it is incredibly difficult to obtain financing for projects of this type, even though for merely Christian activities, financing, even if d fficult, is achievable. And my specialization is precisely, the teaching of these ideas. The help required would simply be to support myself during the time my activity is directed to the preparation of the material required to create and publish the in tial website. All other costs will be financed by local people. Basically, what I am proposing is being kind of employed by Christian conservatives who would like to spread their word to a much larger audience, by translating their material.

Facinating website. I have read two of the articles, and will read others at a later date.

A few people in the guestbook expressed a sincere belief that Bill Clinton is the antichrist. Of course, everyone has a theory. Mine is that it is Romano Prodi, (see www.european-voice.com and other sources on a net search of Excite).

But while the specifics are facinating to speculate on and research, I find the identity of the antichrist to be irrelevant as a spititual matter. His power is restricted due to the presence of the Church (See 2 Thessalonians 2:7), and we are to concern urselves with the Lord's work. The antichrist will be allowed to rule as the judgment of God on a world that has rejected His Son.

Personally, I think Bill Clinton stinks as a president, but remember that the Lord is not willing that ANY should perish. We should pray for him, and all our leaders.

Frankly, if Clinton was the antichrist, I would think he would have done a much better job of it. Remember, he may be rotten enough to a lot of harm to our country, but he does it stupidly.

I just saw the picture of the travail of the flag. It was 1 of the most powerful & moving paintings I have seen & I have seen many. If ever one was to describe man's history of war & misguided "faith" to justify hatred & it's conseqences, this painting as done it. It's still hard to believe, after nearly two full terms of the Clinton presidency, how the American public remains duped by the shenanigans of the 90's flower child, Bill Clinton. He has bought favor with despotic leaders and regimes all over the world, a d has played the American media games to perfection to hone his hero image. He has sold weapons technology to China (I guess that's why he visited this year; making sure they enjoy the new missiles they are constructing), while allowing free Chinese acces to the White House for contributions to the Democratic Party. He rewarded North Korea for starving its population with a huge aid package including a 10-year supply of fuel oil and two nuclear power plants for the promise (yeah, right) to stop building n clear weapons. Just last week, North Korea fired a new, long-range missile into the Sea of Japan. Here at home, he has lied to the American people, and displayed behaviour that the fawning public would not tolerate from their local priest, or even their h irdresser! Who's the REAL danger? Certainly not the right-wing "extremists" who actually desire accountability from the President! America, is it too late to wise up?

Kudos to you for not censoring guestbook entries like most of the cowardly Xian (christian) sites do. ...I completely disagree with your views, but I respect your right to express them. Unfortunately, most of the fundamentalist Xians don't share the same iews: they promote censorship and repression of anyone who they disagree with. This is the same sort of tactic that the Nazis used in 1938. The similarities between the fundy Xians & the Nazis are disturbing. One reason that the US will never "return" to ian roots is that people are gradually becomming less embracing of hatred. It is hatred that fuels racism, homophobia, sexism, and ethnocentricity. Xianity (christianity) is the biggest impediment to social progress that the world has ever experienced (wi h Islam being the second biggest). I respect your personal hopes, but we, as a country, are not going to voluntarily return to the Dark Ages.

I don't know if you'd call me a "fundy" or not. (It took me a while to figure out that that was your shorthand for "fundamentalist".)

If you go ahead and browse my site, you may discover that you don't "completely disagree with my views" as much as you think. I have a good deal of criticism of church people for sins past and present, for things they have done and failed to do.

Inquisitions and forced conversions (common in the Middle Ages) are absolutely not legitimate! In modern times, Christians have done nothing to oppose the shrewd and ruthless people who have defrauded the entire population of their property, freedom, and rights! The solution to homelessness is not government programs! The solution is to stop confiscating people's homes!

You said our country is not going to voluntarily return to the Dark Ages. I'm afraid we already have! More than half of everyone's income is consumed by taxes and interest! The people have already been pretty much reduced to serfs on the elite's (int rnational corporate oligarchy's) global plantation!

Modern culture is also a return to the Dark Ages. Modern entertainment keeps people occupied with their own animalistic, sub-human, lustful urges, keeping them from learning how The System is depriving them of the power to control their own destiny ( he basic element of freedom).

Your mission is understood but it is far from present or future reality. Reading a bit between the lines, it sounds as if you are adhering to some sort of dominion theory which basically fosters the notion that Christianity will ultimately fix the w rld�s problems (America in this case), set things straight (morally/politically) and then Jesus Christ will return. I hope I do not burst your bubble when I point out the fact that the end of mankind�s six thousand year time clock is at hand. Here are a few scriptures from the Bible followed by facts from recent news stories.

Matthew 24:6, "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."
India-Pakistan; Israel-Palestine; Serbia-Croatia-Bosnia; North Korea-South Korea; US-Iraq; and Syria-Israel.

Matthew 24:7, "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places."
The US led coalition rose up against Iraq; Famines in Africa and North Korea; pestilences such as AIDS; and earthquakes in Iran, Afganistan, Mexico, etc.

Matthew 26:12, "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold."
Children killing children; mothers killing babies; mothers selling children (decreased natural affection - Romans 1:31); greatly increased homosexuality; terrorism (we fear biological attack and suit case nukes); child molesters; and grotesque murders ( erial killers).

Matthew 26:21-22, "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days sh ll be shortened."
A great time of trouble is coming (The opposite of a restored America) worldwide.

This kingdom is coming together right now and all the world will be subject to it.

Does this stuff sound depressing? It�s not if your hope and faith is in Jesus Christ. Look around you (watch the evening news, read a newspaper), this stuff is accelerating at a tremendous rate. We are literally at the end of time. These events will h ppen. This is a fact. We cannot change the trouble coming upon the world. We can change individual lives and their destinies.

The world economy is teetering (IMF bail outs of North Korea and Indonesia, Japan and Russia are bankrupt), upon collapse. The US thought the nuclear nightmare was over (India, Pakistan, Iran?, Iraq?). Biological weapons are looming over the world. Ear hquakes, tornadoes, floods are becoming commonplace. This world is crying for a savior, but not Jesus Christ. They will get one in the form of the antichrist.

Now more than ever we need to put our complete trust in Jesus Christ. Forget about nations/traditions (America). Look to God almighty.

Thank you for posting again. Now I understand how I'm being misunderstood.

I do not believe in dominion theology. I do not believe that Christians will set up God's kingdom in advance, where he can just show up and sit on the throne we've prepared for him. I do not believe that Christianity WILL fix the world's problems b fore Christ returns. But it COULD, if people would obey Him! The ONLY reason it won't is because people WILL NOT obey him! (I make the same point in more detail in my article, "God's Issues.")

The scriptures you quoted make it absolutely clear that the world will be in almost complete rebellion against Jesus when he returns. I would like to add to your list the parable in Luke 20:9-18, where a king leaves servants in charge of his vineyar . He sends other servants (prophets) back to check on it, whom they kill. He sends his son (Jesus), and they kill him too. When he returns, he puts them all to death for their rebellion.

I realize that the world will be in almost complete rebellion against Christ when he returns. In fact, most of that rebellion is already in progress! The throne (power structure) of the Antichrist is almost completely in place RIGHT NOW! The most istressing thing is, MOST CHRISTIANS HAVE BEEN COOPERATING WITH ITS CONSTRUCTION! Many believers watch TV and read newspapers, believing the propaganda and supporting all the nice sounding programs that violate God's will! One main goal of my web site i to expose this sin!

Matthew 7:21-23 describes the condition of most of today's church people: "Not every one who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. (22) Many will say to me on that day, ' ord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' (23) And I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.' " (New American Standard Version)

It is true that we will not successfully stop the rebellion against God. But God commands us to try. (I make that point in greater detail in my article, "This Will Boost Your Morale.") Ezekiel chapters 3 and 33 make it clear that we are to warn th people of their sin, or they will die, and we will be held accountable for their deaths!

Daniel 11:32 says of the Antichrist, "And by smooth words he will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will display strength and take action." Conversely, NOT TAKING ACTION SHOWS THAT ONE DOES NOT KNOW GOD!

History records that first century Christians, when they came upon a scene where innocent children were being sacrificed, they TOOK ACTION! They physically intervened and put a stop to it! The Lord himself made a weapon and PHYSICALLY ATTACKED the oneychangers who were desecrating the outer court of the temple. The Lord TOOK THE LAW INTO HIS OWN HANDS! There are times when IT IS A SIN TO NOT TAKE THE LAW INTO YOUR OWN HANDS! When an innocent person is being attacked, we are COMMANDED to i tervene!

Thomas Jefferson apparently was thinking along these lines when he said, "Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God."

Of course we are to pray for our leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-2). When you have the opportunity to do more than that, you are COMMANDED to do more than that! When you have the opportunity to take action, you are COMMANDED to take action! The main issue f Christian involvement in politics is one of stewardship: what will you do with the opportunities God gives you? Whether or not we will succeed in restoring lawful government (one that obeys God's laws) is not relevant. We are still commanded to try!

And that is just the beginning! Today's ruling elite and their "messiah" will exterminate 90% of the world's population before they're through! (My article about the "LEFT wing extremist" explains why they think that's a good idea.)

The main reason God wants his people (Christians) to tell the world the benefits of obeying God's commands concerning social order is so when they (the people) disregard them (the commands), after it's all over, God can tell them, "You could have sup orted them. You could have prevented the carnage! You did it all to yourselves!"

Deuteronomy 28:1 "Now it shall be, if you will diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do ALL (emphasis added) His commandments which I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth."

The reason I am promoting on my web site God's commands concerning social order is BECAUSE THEY ARE GOD'S COMMANDS! We are to tell the people, "This is the way God says to do it. When they disobey, as the Bible says they surely will, they will die s a result. But at least we have saved our own souls (and a few of theirs). At least we sounded the warning (Ezekiel 3).

We will not prevent the Tribulation. But at least we can give individuals fair warning. At least we can be faithful to God in spite of everyone else's disobedience.

You wrote a good piece on China/Biological Weapons. Here's another tidbit you didn't mention that you might find relevant: The two biggest contributors to Clinton's last campaign were given "new" administrative positions that came with TOP SECRET cleara ces -- I don't remember their names, but the information is still readily available. That doesn't have a direct bearing on China or on Biological Weapons, but it's an even better example of how our security information is for sale. You probably heard Ru h Limbaugh linking the China money to the nuke tests in India, so I won't go into that other than to say that I think Rush is on to something. The only other comment I'd give you (purely an athestic one) is to drop Geocities' html editor, and use somethi g like Word 97, Adobe Page Maker, or Netscape. They're easier (in the long run) to use, and you'll usually come out with a better looking site. Oh - I almost forgot! Thank you for dropping in on the Dog House!

I happened upon your website today. Although I have not read all of your articles, I did scan the titles (and lead ins) across the scope of your Homepage. My observation is that you have an interesting mix of Christianity and patriotism. I am writing y u this memo just to offer what I believe is some constructive criticism, which I hope you will ponder in your heart. This website seems to be a house divided. On one side you support Jesus Christ and his commandments, yet the thrust seems to be largly p triotic to a doctrine of a restored America.

When Jesus ministered on the Earth, He was unconcerned about the political systems of the time. Many of his followers had hopes that he would establish a physical kingdom on the Earth and overthrow the Roman oppressors and bring back the glory of Israel (Land of his birth). Jesus had a much higher calling - that is to bring humanity into right standing before God. "Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be deliv red to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence (John 18:36)."

Our concerns as Christians should not be for the kingdoms of this world (Kingdom of America). For we (servants of Christ) are not of this world. "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chos n you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you." (John 15:19), also John 17:16 We are commanded: "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15)." We are to change the hearts of men (one at time if necessary), not dictate morality through some legislative process. If you change the hearts of men, then the morality will naturally follow. What is the ultimate goal? To restore America to some perceived past glory, or to be witnesses of the g spel of Jesus Christ to all men in hopes of changing their paths from destruction to everlasting life.

Jesus said of the nations with regards to his followers: "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake (Matthew 24:9)." There is a spiritual battle going on here. "For we wre tle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12)." The Kingdoms of this world are carnal. After all, "And this is t e condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." They seek to serve SELF.

The WORST thing that ever happened to the Church was when it teamed up with the political system. I am referring to the early church and Rome under the Emperor, Constantine. This produced the Catholic Church (organization). The Church-States throughout history tended to be the biggest persecutors of the faithful (Dark Ages). You cannot mesh the political systems of this world and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Churches (organizations - denominations) in this country have had religious freedom for over two hundred years. This has produced a largly ineffective church (Laodicean - Revelation). Look at this country. America is very corrupt with violence (ev n children killing children), sexual perversion, drugs, riches, etc., etc. America has also corrupted the world. How? Abortion Industry, entertainment industry (promotion of homosexuality, violence, adultry, drugs, etc., etc), wealth and power (refer t Babylon in the Book of Revelation).

I believe your patriotic goals are largly mis-placed. Sure, we are to pray for this nation, and its leadership. However we are not to put our faith in some political party or system. God is our provider, God will keep us. Matthew 6:33, �But seek ye f rst the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.�

What have the Republicans or democrats ever done for you? They can�t even ban a hideous practice known as �partial birth abortion� (and Republicans have a majority). Please understand, The talk is different but the actions are the same. Politics is th practice of compromise. If abortion becomes too hot an issue, the Republicans simply de-emphasize it (that is what has happened).

What good would it do to change the laws of the land if the hearts of the people are rotten to the core? We must proclaim the GOOD NEWS, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Don�t waste precious time pursuing goals that will probably never happen. Now we do not like tribulation or persecution, but surely you must admit that the true church (individuals) grows best as a result of it. Look at the early church. If not for the persecution it would have never spread to the surrounding areas. This is still true tod y - Look at China. OUR GOAL AS CHRISTIANS - �And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14).�

Too much love of country can be as an idol before God. Why? Because it comes between you and GOD. We are to live by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Bible), not by some declaration or constitution of men. If America was ever righteo s -it was because the people humbled themselves before God. The condition if this country now is a reflection of the society. As with the political system, the denominational churches are now starting to compromise to public opinion. I refer to the acc ptance of homosexuaility and abortion. There can be NO compromise with GOD. God gave us his SON (Jesus) and his WORD (Jesus - Bible) and provided His way to be saved. There is no compromise.

DEMOCRACY/REPUBLIC DOES NOT APPLY! SORRY.

Your comments reflect the kind of thinking in today's church I'm trying to address with my website. (I added the "short summary" to my main page after you posted your comments, and revised it after you posted your follow up comments on June 5. This is t e best benefit of your posting: it has caused me to bring my message into sharper focus.) I hope you go ahead and read my articles. I'm sure you'll find there's another side to the picture, that today's church never addresses.

Especially you should read "The Big Picture" section of my main page, "The Lord's Command on Politics", "God's Issues", and "Restore Christian America!" At one minute per kilobyte, it won't take terribly long.

It is true that Jesus did not concern himself with the political systems of his time on earth. But those political systems still perceived him as a threat to their power. Their perception was right. Once people become concerned about morality, they wi l stop participating in and supporting the immorality practiced by politicians.

Jesus did not concern himself with politics because that was not the thing to be done at that time. He did the one thing that no one else could ever do: he offered his perfect self to be the atoning sacrifice for sin.

I agree with you in that no amount of political activity can ever be a valid substitute for personal devotion to Christ. But it was personal devotion to Christ that led the Pilgrims to Massachusetts. It was personal devotion to Christ that led most of he early settlers to America. It was personal devotion to Christ that led George Washington to lead an army against the king's army. It was personal devotion to Christ that led thousands to join that army. "No king but Jesus!" was the battle cry of eve y soldier! (Today's politically correct history books have edited that out.) The American Revolution was not about opposing taxes, it was about restoring the rightful sovereign to the throne!

About the combining of church and state as in the Middle Ages: it is true that the combination turned out to be the biggest persecutor of the faithful. I address that in my article "The Lord's Command on Politics." Read that article to see how America' founding fathers got the relationship right.

About America's freedom producing today's "Laodicean" church: that is simply a continuation of the same cycle that has continued throughout history. The book of Judges records several iterations of that cycle: people obey God, God blesses them, people g t comfortable in the blessings and forget God, God sends punishment, people respond to the punishment and turn back to God, and it starts all over. I am trying to make it clear in my articles where we are in that cycle: punishment is about to come! Like in the book of Jonah, if people will turn back to God, the punishment will be cancelled!

It is not enough just to say people must turn back to God, we must tell them the specific things they are doing that displease God! That is my main thrust in "God's Issues." I don't want to make my articles long and cumbersome by repeating things every ne else is already preaching. I am specializing in the areas of the Bible that are being neglected by most churches.

Your criticism of the Republicans and Democrats is absolutely right! Let me add more to it: the Democrats are the biggest promoters of immorality in America! They have spent trillions paying people to be immoral! The Republicans' opposit on has fallen far short of even being lukewarm! Both "main" parties are worthless!

Neither one opposes, or even mentions, the Federal Reserve, which is actually welfare for billionaires! It is the systematic transfer of the ownership of all the property in America from the people (who were once Christian) to the Satanists who o n the Federal Reserve Banks!

My favorite party is the U.S. Taxpayers' Party, led by Howard Phillips, who says, "Unlike the other major parties, we will not just denounce abortion as a moral evil, we will prohibit it!" His position is similar on all the other moral issues.

Many voters have given up on the Republicrats, for good reason! They sell us out! In '96, conservatives stayed home in droves because Bob Dole compromised away our principles at almost every opportunity in his 29 years in the Senate! If everyone who s ayed home in disgust, and everyone who held their nose and voted against Clinton anyway, had known about and supported a decent candidate, Howard Phillips would now be president!

Ronald Reagan said, "Politicians will never see the light until they feel the heat." The Republican Party's greatest fear is that the true conservatives abandon it for abandoning us! That is exactly what we should do! They sold us out! Let's support omeone else who won't!

The abusive government we now have is a reflection of the immorality of the people who voted for candidates who promised to steal for them! I am writing my articles to expose the sin of people having the govenment steal for them, and the sin of condoning it by not speaking against it. Silence means consent. If you don't oppose sin, you are a partaker of it!

Quite a few people, on their patriot websites, condemn wrongdoing that violates the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Such condemnation is valid. But it is more powerful to base the condemnation on the higher authority, the Bible! I am trying to lead the patriots in that direction, and to articulate and clarify the thinking of those who are already inclined to do so.

Yes, some churches are compromising on things like sodomy and abortion. Those churches have turned themselves into an abomination! But it is not public opinion they have agreed with; clear majorities still oppose those things! (Yes, even abortion! Ab ut 3/4 of the people believe there should be at least SOME restriction on it!)

Those churches are trying to please wealthy and powerful people who own the TV networks and newspapers and magazines and make large contributions to colleges and seminaries. It is a quite small group of people who is leading America into sin. On goal of my website is to influence Americans to stop following them!

Let me make this absolutely clear! The seminaries of those churches have been bought off by the power crazed maniacs who seek to destroy Christian America, and everything it stands for! (Refer to the "Brief Summary" and to "The Big Picture" area of my main page, for more on the power crazed maniacs.)

Why does the "cult of state" love "sexual freedom"? Because the cult of state wants to be the ONLY institution of society! "Sexual freedom" destroys other institutions, like families and churches, that compete with government for the allegiance of the eople. People who worship government (and who usually benefit from the money and power of government positions) don't want families competing for the affection of the people, and churches competing with their "moral authority."

People who believe Christians have no place in politics actually help the enemy by telling churches to not exercise their God-given moral authority in society! Church and state should be separate institutions. Churches that remain silent on publ c issues (or let unbelievers define the issues) abandon their role in society! The "moral authority" is then usurped by government, giving it the same concentration of power that a church-state would have (and usually abuses)! The absence of t e church from public affairs results in the same concentration of power as the combining of church and state!

Democracy / republic does not apply? Democracy is based on the idea that anything the majority votes for is okay. A republic is based on the idea that there are certain things that are always right and certain things that are always wrong. Now which o e reflects God's view?
