Annual Camp Events

Confederate Memorial Day

This is the highlight of the year. Compatriots and their families from throughout the division converge on Beauvoir usually on the last weekend of April. An old fashioned pot luck dinner-on-the-grounds is served followed by a memorial service at the Tomb of the Unknown Confederate Solider. All camp members are encouraged to bring their families, friends, and prospective members to this event.

Fall Muster

Sponsored by Beauvoir, this event occurs in October and has traditionally been well attended by the general public. Confederate camp life is reenacted along with military drills and skirmishes.

The Lee-Jackson Banquet

The banquet occurs on the Saturday in January closest to the birthday of these Confederate giants (Robert E. Lee's birthday is January 19; Stonewall Jackson's birthday is January 21).

Beauvoir, A Walk Through History

Usually occuring in May, this annual event is a musical trip through the days of the Confederacy and the Davis years at Beauvoir. It is a fundraiser put on by our camp for Beauvoir.
