Your God is dead, and no one cares and if their is a hell, I'll see you there. |
My
thought of why christianity came about is simple. In the time of the bible
the world was full of many things "evil" and unpleasant. Such as good that
demanded war and lust which raged on all through the roman world. The romans
were a people of great culture and stunning art but had quite the lust
for blood. They filled this need by throwing one of many groups
to the lions but something was special about this group. They had a plan. Because the romans hated the jewish community so dearly what better thing to do than stay jewish but not jewish. They devised Christianity, they technically wrote the already fictional "Bible" but added to it. Creating the son of God "Jesus" and along with Jesus many parables and stories that give good meaning to life in a simple easy to follow form. Which is a good thing, people in those days were not as clever as I think we are today. They needed a person of higher power holding something that they just can not accomplish , so someone who can do something they can not they followed hoping to learn their ways and become more like this person. They figured if I can be pure of heart and follow all these things that this man has supposedly said I to can walk on water, I to can change water into wine, I to can sure the sick, I to can go forth in to a paradise after death. Which sounds like a good deal to me, but is not being a good person good enough for you? Where it all went wrong, is when it started. They did such a good job with their stories that people passed this on and on generation to generation in hope that their ancestors would be good people as well as spiritually gifted. That there is wrong people and people don't think they can be good people with out some kind of reward. But soon the reward was thought out to far, people began to think that the devil, was over coming the foreign lands. So set forth the Crusades where the options were join us or die. Real clever considering that the law of God and any person with half a brain would know you don't have to kill to make your point. Despite this dark moment everyone
seems to be blind by this out standing point, and it also seemed to make
them strong. Which in turn shows that man can never be like the God it
has created for we crave violence, and that shows our true animal instincts,
and another point that we came from a 1 cell organism and slowly developed
into current man.
Speaking of current man, why are we still following this ancient text despite the fact of the good moral basis (That we have even created in our cultures, even though, we used our "God" to abuse other humans again, by killing Indians and wiping out their culture, wich now remains in reinactments and stories, prehaps the indians we destory us in the end and use the white man as the devil as the black culture already does, and I even portray the white man as the devil and I am white.) of it. I do have to admit that it has helped some people see things a bit more clearly with it's simple story base. I honestly believe that people are intelligent enough to see through this fabrication of a God to lead the way and not our selves to lead the way by keeping our selves together as a utopia and not as a "angry mob". |
