The Conservative Party is made up of many constituent parts. As well as other Associations, the Conservative Party is linked to a wide variety of campaigning groups and "think tanks". Although these organisations do not represent party opinion, ideas need to be developed and these organisations play a useful part in the process of developing new ideas.
