And the Scandalcriers Shriek...

I'd be lying if I were to say I weren't concearned about the near future of our government. The Scandalcriers are out and running amuck. The internet is full of Scandalcriers, screaming "Klinton! Algore!" and other nonsense.

The Republicans are pulling out ever nitpickable problem they can find on Al Gore, they can't win by logic, so they win by demonization. It's so saddening. After all this time, I'm still trying to find out what Al Gore did that was so hidious. From what I gather he made a few fund-raising calls that happened to be from the whitehouse, and that's illegal.

What I'm trying to figure out is: Why is it illegal? Stay with me. Would it really be any different if those calls had been made from anywhere else? I wonder how many republicans made fund-raising calls from places of convinience.

Like all scandalcrier blather, it's difficult to dis-assemble and make into common sense. I'm going to try and make a prediction: By March 1998, the entire assembly of attacks on Al Gore's character will be forgetten by everyone but the scandalcriers.

But I can't particularly say I'm proud of the democratic party, it needs a tune-up and a major one. Al Gore's a step up from Clinton, but no a large enough one. The democratic party is full of people hiding their necks from a pillow that looks like a sharp sword. The word liberal.

I savor the day we finally have a liberal as President, it's been decades. Until then our country will continue to be torn up and ravaged by the right-wing.

Now! For the lighter side!!!

The democrats are the only people that anybody can turn on now, and I have a feeling that should change come the election of 2000. Why? Becuase my geuss is that the republicans will pick a ninny for their candidate.

People don't seem to begin seeing the wackiness of the republicans until they begin grabbing at each other's throats. It happened in 1996 and I have a confident feeling it will happen again.

But maybe I'm jumping the gun. This is just a quick rant on all the Scandalcrying I've noticed lately. I'll give it a good wait before I make any more serious predictions.
