As the New Year stretches it's muscles, one cannot help but delve into deep thought.
The Congressional elections draw even nearer. Can we push the 'Pubs out?
The web keeps on getter more and more advanced. Can we all keep up?
What the hell can we do with them consarned Iraqi.
Well, anyway. For me, 1997 was a year of a mixture of pain and pleasures.
10 Pains
The only to republicans up for major re-election that I care about were the only ones I liked,
even though they won I'd have liked to see a Pubbie I dislike more get canned, at least one.
All my local possitions are still held by their Pubbie Incumbants.
The year opened with me puncturing a lung.
My stupid Cable Company denies me Comedy Central, the dorks.
Ed Malloy's invasion, though over now, was still something to remember. He's a perky little
punk! It was amusing, so this could go in the Pleasure list, but still, It was tiresome deleting all
those incoherent messages in my Geustbook :)
Porgy Girl, as of late, has been giving me the cold shoulder. Some people I geuss just have
a need to hold grudges against those that step all over them ;)
Perkelland is still nutsy-cookoo as ever.
The year ended in a non-political slumberland.
I'm still a little bit peeved with the slightly over-exaggerated worshipping of a certain British
ex-royal. Though of course I'm sad she died as well.
A living saint also passed away.
10 Pleasures
Nobody with more than five braincells believe Bob Dornan's crazy claims, still.
I'm looking to move sometime soon away from all the local Pubbie noodnicks I live nearby.
I didn't need surgery for my lung, It eventually healed with rest and a bit of extra air.
We gots us a robot on Mars!
I finally got a scanner! Now if I can only figure out how to use it . . .
Newt Gingrich is still as unpopular as ever.
I have no regrets concearning any of my on-line debates the entire year, as opposed to the
year prior when I had a few as I was just learning to talk the talk.
Turnleft now has an IRC channel I frequent on Efnet.
Politically Incorrect still never fails to crack me up.
Rush Limbaugh just keeps getting less and less popular since Al Franken's book's success.
