Here you can see more of the folks that were on the Portugese tour with us. This is breakfast time in our hotel Ampalius in Algarve. We had several interesting conversations with the head waiter at the restarurant. He told us of his many businesses set up in the states and how wealthy he was. We were left wondering why he was still a head waiter in a hotel restaurant in Portugal! He must enjoy catering to people like us!
We really enjoy the tours that we go on. We meet lots of new and interesting people. I had a chance to play tennis with this guy in Portugal. I think he was in his 60's. Needless to say, he nearly kicked my butt! He was real tricky - he walked really slow because he had a back problem, but when it came time to run after the ball, he was as fast as a rabbit!!
