| Wayacon (or Waya) was born in 1941 and lives in Remedios (Cuba). He is a self-taught artist with no art training and remains uninfluenced by art world or market trends. Wayacon's singulary expressive vocabulary invites the viewer into an hallucinatory world through the merging of a brilliant coloration and unique graphic images.
