THE EARTH BEFORE ADAM

Today, many scientists are trying to prove that the earth existed far beyond six thousand years ago (which is the beginning of the record of Genesis 1), and because they are lacking the knowledge of God, they can not explain what really happened then and why so many things that took place then are unaccounted for. To compensate for their limited knowledge, they developed the "big bang theory" and the "human evolution theory" which are all wrong.

While the world is swimming in their scientific fantasy, those that are ready to learn from God through humility will always be thought by God and will not be in darkness as the rest in the world are.

Genesis 1:1-2;

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Moses was shown the beginning of the world according to his record in Genesis 1:1-2. However, something's remain un-cleared between verse 1 and 2. We know now that God created the heaven and earth. The question now is that if Heaven was and is still perfect as created, what was is it that voided the earth? And why was it formless and covered with darkness? As children of God, we know that all our father's creations have always been good. So why was the earth void in verse two of Genesis 1? It then remains that while God created the earth in perfect condition, something or somebody voided the earth before Moses saw it.

Moses was not the only one given this revelation. Jeremiah was also shown the same revelation plus what Moses did not see or if he saw it, did not mention it in his account. Now lets read Jeremiah's account of this same event.

Jeremiah 4:23-26

23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.

Jeremiah was privileged to see the same beginning of this present earth as Moses saw in Genesis. While Moses was given the revelation of what happened from the beginning of this earth towards the present day, Jeremiah saw from the beginning of the present earth backward to the creation of the earth and when it was still perfect. The two prophets saw the earth voided, formless and covered with darkness. Verse 23 of Jeremiah 4 is a replica of Genesis 1 verse 2.

The Bible said that at the mouth of two or three. Let the truth be established. Read Matt.18:16; 2Cor.13:1; Heb.10:28;and 1Tim.5:19.

From the two records, the earth before Adam was destroyed and all the cities and the inhabitants were destroyed along with that earth. (They call it big bang?) God destroyed every thing on the face of the earth. This then accounts for why the earth was without form. Going back to the three questions I asked earlier, i.e. what voided the earth? What caused the earth to be without form? And how come there was no light on it? Or why were the sun, moon and star stopped from shining their light on earth? We now know why the earth was formless. Let find out the answers for the other two.

Jeremiah saw that mountains were trembling and the hills were moving. You might think that was an earthquake. No sir, it was not an earthquake and it was not a big bang either. These incidents were happening all over the then earth.

For God to destroy the earth, He must have been provoked as a result of which His wrath could not be stopped. God does not get angry easily, but when He does, there is no stopping Him. Psalm 103:8-9 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. And Jer. 3:12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever. That is to say something went wrong. An unpardonable sin must have been committed. Who could have been responsible for this sin and what was the sin that was committed? Let's check what Ezekiel and Isaiah have got to say about this.
Ezekiel 28:11-15

11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

What was the iniquity that was found in him (Lucifer)? Let's read

Isaiah 14:12-15 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
From these records, Lucifer was the King of the then earth, and was stationed in the Garden Of Eden. He destroyed due to his desire to overthrow God and become like God.

The bible said, "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrew 10:31". Here is a creature called Lucifer who look through the nature and quality of materials used in creating him and feels he is better than his creator. Lucifer was too full of himself that the pride of being the first being to be created with enormous power which is nearly equal to that of God, made him to feel that he is too big to play second best to God. The bible said that "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Prov 16:18". Lucifer; created as the most beautiful, most intelligent and most powerful creature of God's creations then fell because of pride. He thought that by the strength of his might and the angels which where under his command, he could rush up to heaven and upstage God and all the other angels which were and are still being loyal to God. His calculation was wrong. He had no knowledge of a potter having complete control of his clay. Let's read these:
Jer 18

2 Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.
3 Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
Rom 9:21 21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

Yes the potter has all the power to make a lump of clay to any shape he or she desire. Lucifer was and is still guilty as charge. He crossed the boarder line of his authority and power. The verdict was sin and so must be punished, because the wages of sin is death. He has to face the wrath of God.

THE PUNISHMENT
2 Sam. 22:

8 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.
9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.
11 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
12 And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.
13 Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.
14 The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.
15 And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.

Lucifer, his angels and his kingdom were destroyed. Jeremiah looks around and could not see any man, beast or even plants after the destruction. The earth has been voided and God is not going to take it slightly. God withdrew light from his reign and replaced it with darkness. Our God is a jealous God and will not share His glory with any other man.

Nahum 1

2 God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.
3 The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
4 He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.
5 The mountains quake at him, and thehills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
6 Who can stand before his indignation? And who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? His fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.
7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof and darkness shall pursue his enemies.

Here you go. To whom much is given much is required. Lucifer knows too much to commit this type of sin. His kingdom (the earth) has been destroyed, God withdrew light from it and to finish the job, God overran it with water. Lucifer lost all his power and glory including his physical body.

Isaiah 5:25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Isaiah 63:6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.

When God is angry, even the mountains and the hills cannot withstand His furry. The whole earth trembles and no man can survive the presence of his anger. Yes it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Lucifer and his accomplish are still facing the consequence of their action and will finally be thrown in to the lake of fire on the last day.

Remember what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah? How that God destroyed the city because of their sins. Let's read,

Gen.19 24 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; 25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

Remember God will never acquit the wicked. He did not spare, the earth before Adam, He did not spare the earth before Noah, He did not spare Sodom and Gomorrah. He will not spare this world.

Jesus in His teachings taught us to fear God when He said, "But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, fear him. Luke 12:5".

In as much as you may want to know that God is a LOVING GOD, you may also wish to know He is a consuming fire. He is the porter and has all the authority over his clay. You and me are His hand made.

Now read these:-Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. and Genesis 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

In these two scriptures, God has use the word replenish which also means refill or replace. After the flood, God asked Noah and his sons to multiply and refill the earth with their kinds. This simply imply that the earth before Adam had people similar to what we are today, since Adam was also given the same commision. Can't you see God working in the same pattern?

If God could destroy the earth before and after Adam because of sin, what makes you think He will spare our own earth today?

Jude also forewarned us in:-

Jude 5-6

5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

CONCLUSION

Lucifer did not commit this atrocity alone. He pulled some of the Angels with him to fight against God as recorded by Jude. The result? Same doom as Lucifer. Lucifer, who is now known as the devil, because evil was first found in him, is still working round the clock to draw the present earth along side with him to hell. Read this:-

Rev 12:7-9

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought gainst the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Yes the dragon, which is called the devil, was the Lucifer in the earth before Adam. He is doing everything he can including false teaching to get the children of God to hell with him.

2 Pet 3:2-7

2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Dear friends, know this that your destiny is now in your hand. What ever you make of it is what will await you on the judgement day. Jesus is calling you today. Come to Him without delay. Today is the day of salvation. Tomorrow may be too late.

I want you to know one thing that when God brought man into this flesh and placed him in the Garden of Eden, the devil was furious. He knew that God was handing over what was his before the destruction of the first earth. He made sure he does not let it go just like that without a fight. Lookout for my message on the "The original sin" and "the Sons of God" coming soon. You know what, he moving around like a wounded lion looking for whom to devour.

1 Pet 5:8-9

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Knowing this that the devil is working overtime (24 hours daily) to take you and me with him to hell. You have to be very sober and vigilant. Let us work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Resist the devil whenever he brings the lust for the thing of this world to you and he will flew away from you. Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you. Repent and be converted. Turn away from all form of evil.
