Another red star this time M1 type. Near Orion. Note the red is somewhat subdued quite contrary to scattering laws. This colour should be sharper than what was seen around polaris red, ozone played an important role in countering scattering. Atmospheric extinction significantly reduced the size of this brighter 4.9 stellar magnitude object.
