This "Pill Box" is located on Via Madonna between Licola and Varcaturo in Naples Italy (Northern side of road). This pill box is constructed of concrete and brick. Three small machine gun ports (two visible in photo) complete the front of the box. The inside contains a machine gun pit (mounts removed), with a small passage to larger room. The larger room has been filled in with dirt by the owner (a local farmer). Overall condition is very good with no signs of "battle" damage.

This pill box is directly in front the above pill box (southern side of Via Madonna). Both pill boxes protected each side of the narrow road. The size depicts a 3,7cm PAK 36 or 5cm PAK 38 size gun emplacement. Three gun ports (one visible in photo) complete the defence of the emplacement. Severe damage to the pill box is noted (possibly due to the post war de-armament act). No battle damage is evedent. Interior is filled with dirt. Overall very poor condition.

This "Pill Box" appears to be a command post. Located in Licola on Via Madonna (approx. one mile east from the above pill boxes). The rear portion (seen in photo) has a large door which enters into a small room. The pill box is constructed out of concrete. The main room has one small gun port and appears to have had a radio installation (wiring was found hanging on walls and ceiling). The overall condition is very poor. No items were recovered from inside of pill box.

This pill box is located directly in front of the previous pill box (toward the east, flanking the road). This pill box is constructed out of concrete. One (visible) machine gun port
is facing the main road. The inside of this pill box has been filled with dirt. Overall very, very poor condition.
