Some words about our plans and new airplanes.

Brand new aircrafts of the Boeing Co. are expected to arrive to our main field in Moscow - Sheremetyevo soon. Last week we have signed contract with this aerospace giant for 3 Boeing 777-300 long range airliners. We need them to make alive all Transatlantic routes and some Asian-destination routes in our timetable. When arrive, airliners have to pass all nessesary tecknic and register testings and after that they'll be put into their routes.
Boeing 777-300 is better airliner then its brother Boeing 777-200IGW, which is used by our VA since October, 1997. And 2 of three aircrafts which will be bought, will serve Moscow - New-York and Moscow-Chicago routes instead of B777-200IGW, which are used there now. ( Boeing 777-300 Range: 10,460 km, Speed: 0.84 Mach, Seating:from 368 to 394 pass. in 3-class configuration to 550 pass. in tourist charter configuration).
RusLine also have purchased 1 McDonnel Douglas MD - 11 aircraft and waiting for its arrival. This aircraft will be used on
South America destinations.
(MD-11 Range: 12700 km, Speed: 945kmh, Seating: 250-410 passengers).

We also expected all other airliners, that we have ordered last year, but something wrong with their delivery. They are: 6 Boeing 737-400, 10 Iilushin - 96m and 16 Tupolev -204-100.
