Col. Charles Jaglinski, ret.


Col. Charles Jaglinski is a retired US Air Force Fighter Pilot with over 25 years of active duty. He entered the United States Air Force in 1962 after receiving a comission through the Air Force ROTC Cadet Program at the University of Connecticut. Col. Jaglinski flew two tours in Vietnam, total of 5 assignments in operational F-4 Tactical Fighter Squadrons. Furthermore, Col. Jaglinski was Commander of ESC Europe at Kapaun Air Station, Germany.

1963: Pilot Systems Operator, F-4, MacDill Air Force Base, FL
1965: F-4 pilot, 558th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Can Rahn Bay, RVN AFB, later 12th Tactical Fighter Wing Scheduling Officer
1966: F-4 pilot flight commander, 81st Tactical Fighter Squadron, Hahn Air Base, Germany, later 50th Tactical Fighter Wing Contingency Plans Officer
1970: assistant operations officer, 335th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, NC, later 4th Tactical Fighter Wing Command Post Duty Officer
1972: flight commander, 35th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Da Nang RVN AFB, later 35th Tactical Fighter Squadron at Korat RTAFB, then following 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing Alert Pad Commander, Kunsan Air Base, Korea
1973: Excercise Plans Officer ( TAC/XPXE ), Langley Air Force Base, VA
1976: Advanced Programs Plans Officer ( ESC/XR ),System Program Director Joint STARS, Hanscom Air Force Base, MA
1983: Commander ESC Europe, Kapaun Air Station, Germany
1985: Deputy SPD F-15 ( ASD/ TAF ), Wright- Patterson Air Force Base, OH
1987: Col. Jaglinski retires from the USAF
