I am totally in awe of "Kelly" Johnson and Ben Rich. To me these were the two most genuis men on the planet. They had such good ideas and they made them all real. Being in the Air Force and being a crew chief on KC_135 tankers I know a lot about aircra
t and these to people made aircraft technology happen way before they had to. May the world remember Clarence "Kelly" Johnson and Ben Rich for their outstanding acheivements and their brilliant ideas.

of the mechanics crew on the P-80 during the
l940's when Tony Levier was a Test Pilot, working
for Mr. Kelly Johnson. He often told stories of

I have seen the Blackbird in flight many times. I remember about 15 years ago in Shreveport,La. a massive sonic boom blasted windows for miles when an SR-71 had an engine failure and was comming down to land at Barksdale Air Base. When it came in to land,
it was a show stopper!!!!
