If you have ever posed the question, "Why am I here"?, "What is My purpose in life"?, you are not alone. I am sure that each and every one of us have asked these questions at least once in our lives. Many of us as we grow older believe that it is we ourselves who hold the destiny of our lives, that our own actions control our fate. This is "NOT" entirely true. My friends I offer to you this thought for you consideration ...
My friends as we can see the events of the world today, the time for skepticism, doubt and the criticism of the church is over. Time is not as long as you my think or want. God IS coming back and the only goal for all of us should be to go to Heaven with Him. Many people have chosen to turn away from God because of the actions of a few, but I want to say to you that no man can enter into the Kingdom of Heaven through or by someone else. To have a personal relationship with God, it must be on a one to one basis. For God said "Behold I stand at the door and Knock"
God wants to dwell with and in us so that we may be His ambassadors everywhere we go.
Many of us have hardened our hearts toward God. We have a few accomplishments and education and we feel that we don't need God. This attitude is the very "wrecking ball" that destroys the foundation of the personal relationship between God and Man. All men must come to the realization that "The Earth is the Lords and the Fullness thereof" we have nothing here on earth that is worth clinging onto rather than turning to God.
My friends, I am only a voice, pleading with you to see the one True and Living God's Light. I find it strange that we have all kinds of insurance to protect our Families, our Homes and our Cars, but, we have NO assurance that our souls are protected and that our names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Finally,
think on these things that we have discussed here and discover the Joy of the Lord "TODAY". As my Pastor, The Rev. Dr. D.D. Chestang of the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio always says, as a candidate for baptism comes forth ...
May the Grace of Our Lord and Savior be with you all ...
Until ...
