Bidens aristosa
This member of the Sunflower family sports 1 to 2 inch (2.5 to 5 cm) wide golden Daisy-like flower heads with yellow ray and disk flowers with the rays being relatively long compared to the width of the central disk. The 6 inch (15 cm) long leaves are opposite and pinnately compound with toothed leaflets.
This plant grows in wet meadows, pond borders, and other sunny wet places and range from 1 to 5 feet (30 to 150 cm) tall. Flowers bloom from September to October.
