Viola kitaibelliana
This member of the Violet family sports whitish or pale blue flowers that measure ½ to 5/8 inch (1.3 to 1.6 cm) long atop small spoonshaped leaves with very large, lobed, blunt-tipped stipules. Plants measure 3 to 8 inches (7.6 to 20cm) high and frequents fields, roadsides, stream banks and meadows. Flowers bloom in April and May.
