Assists in the design, specification, deployment and maintenance of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) technology for highway mangement.

1997-1999
TEC Engineering, Inc.
Established and managed the Kentucky branch office. Responsible for projects involving traffic signals, traffic signal systems, intelligent transportation systems and roadway lighting. Tasks include project management, project engineering, specification writing, construction inspection, data analysis and authoring of traffic studies.

1994-Present
New Perspective Aerial Photography
Established company to provide aerial photographic services using remotely piloted aircraft.

1986-1997
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet
Performed traffic signal design, traffic signal system design and roadway lighting design. Developed standards and specifications for traffic signal equipment. Responsible for special programming of Model 170 signal controllers using W4IKS software. Designed, inspected, and managed the maintenance of traffic signal communication systems consisting of licensed radio, spread spectrum radio, twisted pair and cable/broadband networks. Implemented traffic signal vehicle detection systems using video and microwave technology. Served as chair of the Devices Committee for the Louisville area TRIMARC ITS project. Designed and built automated test equipment for traffic signal controllers.
