  • This is where I was a reseach assistant in Grad School. We did some really innovative work growing plants (PGBA) and making Coke from scratch (FGBA) on the Space Shuttle. This work continues eventhough, sadly, I had to graduate and move on to a higher paying job!
• Ball Aerospace
  • This is where I am currently employed. Ball is quite a small aerospace company as far as aerospace companies go (about 2000 employees in the Boulder/Broomfield aera). Ball specializes in optical instruments and small satillites. The best thing is that it is only a 5 minute bike ride from my house!

  • Mainly I read it because I get homesick, but it is quite a good online newspaper. You do have to login the first time but it doesn't cost anything. It also covers international news, unlike most of the newspapers in this country (not that I find this annoying or anything!)

• Lonely Planet Travel Guides
  • Lonely Planet makes (in my opinion) some of the best travel guides around. Their books are geared towards the budget traveller, giving all the cheapest places to stay and eat, but have got the more up-market places aswell. They also contain useful history and flora and fauna information about every area covered. The Lonely Planet Guide to Australia was my bible when I was there. If you are taking a trip check out this web site to see if there is a LP book to guide you on your way.

  • This is a good place to start if you are taking a vacation. From this site you can get to all the official National Parks web pages. All sites have useful information on weather, prices, accomodation and driving routes.

• The Bath,UK web site
  • This is a great guide to Bath, both for visitors and residents. It is written in a very casual and tongue in cheek way. It really is quite amusing and there are some good photographs too.

• The Boulder Almost Free Outdoor Cinema.
  • Cult and Classic films shown in a parking lot!
    Be warned, you have to supply your own seating and they don't stop the movie if it rains! Last summer I watched Planet of the Apes in the pouring rain! I did actually have a complete set of Gore-Tex clothing on since it looked like it would rain, but I was still rather soggy by the end!

  • This is an unofficial site. It's got some decent maps and general park information, weather etc. As of 8/97 it will cost you $10 entrance fee per car. Or you can buy a Golden Eagle Pass for $50 which is vaild for all National Parks in the country for 12 months (much better deal)

  • No, they are not Naked and they are not Ladies! They are fully clothed Canadian men. BNL has been one of my favourite bands for several years now. If you have never heard of them you should take a look at their site - they always make me happy - one of the best bands I have ever seen in concert.
