I have been playing on the CU Women's Ice Hockey team since I moved to Boulder in 1995.  I had never played hockey before in my life, but I got lucky because the team was short of players and they were willing to take in anyone who wanted to learn.  So learn I did!  I played left wing for 2 years and then switched to defence.

Our team pratices twice a week and we play games on the weekends.  We play in the Women's Association of Colorado Hockey (WACH), which includes the following teams:

Colorado College Fort Collins Vail
Aspen Steamboat The Flyers
The Bandits The Rockets Breckenridge

Most of our games are played in and around the Front Range, and it doesn't cost anything to come and watch.  Check our our schedule for game times for the 1199-2000 season.

We have a lot of fun on our team, both on and off the ice.  We like to party together as well as play hockey.  You can look at our roster to see who is on the team.
