Right Kidney

Right Renal Vein

BlueLine

Upon exiting the glomerulus of the Bowman's capsule via the efferent1 arteriole, you pass through the medullary plexus -- which is the fine network of capillaries within the nephron -- and enter the intralobular vein of this nephron. This takes you out of the kidney as you enter the renal vein.

1: efferent adj. designating vessels or ducts that drain fluid . . . from an organ or part.
