Testimonials and Advise From Those Who are Walking Through the Red Sea...
From Mark Lucas...
Fighting Cancer,
what I wish I learned sooner.
(not in any specific order)

**Read Richard Blochs book Fighting Cancer. (http://www.blochcancer.org/)

**Read or listen to the tape Love, Meditation, and Miracles,
by Bernie S. Siegel, M.D.
Siegel is an icon in the cancer fighting community.

**Become an expert of your disease.  Dont expect your Doctor to, because he doesnt have it.

**Have a positive and fighting mental attitude.

**If you need surgery, use only a cancer surgeon experienced with your disease.

**If you have surgery, make sure you have the pathology reviewed by an independent source.

**Get 2nd, 3rd, 4th opinions on your condition and treatment options.

**Find an oncologist you have confidence in, who has a positive attitude, and will give you all the time you need.

**
If you think you need to see a doctor sooner than they can schedule you (three weeks is typical) dont accept the delay.  Have another doctor call and schedule a sooner appointment for you.  Also, try to anticipate and schedule an appointment you might need.  You can always cancel it later.

**Research and consider clinical trials. (http://cancertrials.nci.nih.gov/index.html)

**Seek out cancer support groups and cancer resources such as Bloch and the Wellness Community. (http://www.wellness-community.org/)

**Consider immune therapy by relaxation and visualization.  (The tape Super Immunity, by Paul Pearsall is very good.

**
Prayer helps, a lot.
