The Mission of the Phlebotomy Program is to provide education and skills to individuals that demonstrate desire and ability to perform the vital tasks of collecting blood and blood products to improve the delivery of medical services to an individual in need.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE
This is a comprehensive program with skills to prepare students to perform phlebotomy procedures safely and effectively while enhancing comfort and safety to the patients. The student will be qualified with a variety of skills and knowledge that will enhance employment.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
The phlebotomist will obtain employment in a laboratory, clinic or doctor�s office.
Patient Care Assistants and Nurse�s Assistants are now taking this program, which serves as a catalyst to employment.
