PROGRAM MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the Patient Care Technician Program is to provide a career to individuals both men and women to provide health care in a multi-functional capacity with a focus on health prevention, health promotion and comfort of all patients.


PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

This program is designed to teach students a variety of skills necessary to practice in all health care environments. Graduates of this program are capable to perform a wide range of duties such as those provided by a Nurse�s Assistant, Home Health Aide, Patient Care Assistant, Patient Care Technician or a Phlebotomist.


CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

A Patient Care Technician can secure prestigious employment in clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, laboratories, doctor�s office, patient�s residence and other health care environment.

Also, this qualified person can obtain a job in a hospital setting as a Nurse�s Assistant, Patient Care Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Phlebotomist or Electrocardiograph Technician.
