WINE PRODUCTION A Business Plan was created in 1975 for the establishment of a winery in Alberta under current Federal/Provincial incentives.
Visited the 'father' of Canadian wines (Andrew Wolf) in Cochrane to discuss with him his experience in restarting in this business. Eventually decided not to proceed as the local palate - at that time - was not prepared for the quality (and therefore price) of the wines envisaged.
Despite this, a large quantity of high-class wines were produced for private comsumption over several years and highly regarded by connoisseurs.
