PHOTOGRAPHY

It seems that some genes related to photography were inherited. Possessed a camera from an early age (first camera was a Leica IIe) and worked in father's darkroom, developing and colouring B&W film.

In 1956 started in stereophotography, a hobby which lasted some 20 years, amassed several thousand 3D slides taken in Germany, Cyprus, Turkey and England, some which would have been prize-winning exhibits in another format.

Currently using a semi-automatic Yashica, but would like to move to a medium-format. Still not too enamoured of digital photography, despite its many advantages: it is a field which offers much improved quality year after year, but still limited in the production of high quality photographs.
