Governor LonQue is a Black Elf, his exact age is unknown but his closest friends estimate his age at about two thousand years old. He is six and a half feet tall with long flowing white hair and is rapier thin. He has worked his way up through the government starting out as a simple scribe. Before being made governor of Layum by Marlenius he was a Merchant guild judge.

Overall LonQue likes Marlenius, but he has had some loud disagreements with him over the years. He is most vocal when Marlenius decides to pour money into a project that is not needed or will have no purpose. LonQue believes in only doing things that need to be done or will have a productive outcome. Frivolity is something that he is against all the time.

The Layum region of Armath is mostly agricultural, they grow a very good wheat as well as other grains. They also brew a very good beer that is widely exported across the entire world. LonQue takes great strides to keep the farmers of his region happy, he actually under taxes them, knowing that he will get extra revenue from the sale of their harvest.

LonQue also serves as the Merchant guild judge for the Layum region, and he is a very tough judge. He does not like merchants that gouge their customers by overcharging them, or be misleading them on their products. He believes in fair pricing for a good product will garner its own rewards.
