1. The Central Dart League will play at the CEI Club on Tuesday evenings. 1001 is the game, double in and double out.

2. The year shall be divided into two series:

         Series 1.    September to December (14 weeks)

Series 2. January to April (14 weeks, plus a playoff round)

3. There are eight teams entered in each series and each team has five players. Teams will be selected on a draft basis by the team captains. Captains are determined by the top eight averages from the previous series. (Note: Number of teams is subject to change depending on number of players in the series)

4. In order to play an official game (i.e. 5 legs) a team must have at least one (1) player in attendance at game start time.

5. Game start time is 8:00 P.M

a) If at 8.00 P.M. a team or both teams in competition have at least 3 players in attendance then play will commence at 8:00 P.M.
b) A 15-minute grace period will be given to a team(s) who has less than 3 players at game start time.
c) Players, who arrive after the second round of a leg has started, cannot enter the leg.
d) Teams with less than five (5) players after game start time will be eligible to shoot one (1) John Doe. Should a team have only four(4) players present, John Doe will be the player under the highest man missing.

6. A player who misses two (2) consecutive nights without informing his captain or any member of the executive can be replaced and ineligible for awards.

7. Dues are $120.00 per Series. Included in Series 1 dues is a $15.00 fee for Associate Membership at the CEI Club. This fee is waived for full time members of the CEI Club. Associate Membership entitles players to full privileges at the club on Tuesday nights. Associate Membership Fees are due on the second week of darts in September. ALL DUES ARE TO BE PAID IN FULL THREE WEEKS BEFORE THE END OF THE SERIES.

8. A fee of $0.25 will be paid at the end of each leg (game) by each player who has a score of 0 (skunked)

9. The team captain is responsible for:

a) Collection of his team's dues. All dues collected are to be given to the league Treasurer and recorded on the bottom of the score sheet.
b) Keeping the score when his team is the Home team the captain may delegate this to a team member. All scores of 100 and over must be circled. When recording a finish the total score remaining on the scoreboard is recorded.

10. In the event of cancellation of darts, the Executive will notify the team captains. The captains will notify his team members. Cancellation will result in doubling up of games on the next dart night. Game start time will then be 7:30 P.M. instead of 8.00 P.M.

11. A free beer will be awarded to a player who finishes a game. Subject to change depending on availability of beer from the CEI club.

12. When a player, in getting away, gets a score higher than that remaining on the scoreboard (busts), he is still not away.

13. Darts are to remain in the board until the score is determined and agreed upon.

14. To be eligible for individual awards a player must have competed in 75% of the games. In the event a player comes into the League late in the Series he is be entitled to all awards except High Average and Skunk Free, provided he plays 75% of the games after his registration.

15. Each player will receive a 40 oz. Bottle and one (1) dozen beer for competing in Series 1. In addition, all players in good standing are eligible for the Series 1 Awards as detailed below.

17. The annual dinner and dance will follow Series 2. Awards for Series 2, as detailed below, will be awarded at the dinner and dance. Members in good standing shall also receive a prize of varying value depending on sequence their name is drawn.

Note: Because the person with Highest Average is most likely to have Most Tuns it was decided that a player with High Average would be ineligible for the Most Tuns award. The next highest Tuns wins.

19. Since the league must pay for the meal whether a player shows up or not there will be a $20 registration fee for all members planning to attend the Dinner portion of the Dinner and Dance. This fee is returned to the member only if that person attends the dinner.

20. Any member who cannot attend the Dinner and Dance can delegate someone to except any award or select a prize on their behalf.

21. Guest tickets may be available for the Dinner and Dance prices subject to approval by the membership. There can be no refunds of Guest tickets once the dinner order has been placed with the caterers.

22. Trophy's shall be awarded at the Dinner and Dance for the following:

Championships - Jon Carnell Award
Most Improved - Art Butler Award
High Single Leg - Glenn Wicks Memorial (formerly Most Dedicated)
High Finish - Eric Hodder Award
High 3 Darts - Paul Sooley Award
