I have never seen so much sand, rock and dirt have blood spilled over it because of Oil, Religious beliefs and Idealogies. What I wouldn't give to put all parties involved in 'time-out' role and take away their guns (toys) and their voices....

The fact the U.S. continues to support Israel unflinchingly spells only more trouble, not less. Until we put aside these issues, and come to a drastic change (removal of Jewish people to either the United States or other adequate place) the violence will never stop. I'm sorry the Jewish people have been attacked, and their rights dismissed by many, but it does ZERO good to continue attacks or wage war against not one or two, but many, many nations. The 'Holy Land' premise gets old. At some point, you have to expand your reality to include the entire world as the 'Holy Land' and give up the task of a stretch of land by the Med.

Just my uneducated opinion...which a scholar or other malcontent will vilify.
