Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich appointed former Attorney General Roland Burris to fill the vacant United States Senate seat left by President-Elect Barack Obama; Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White refused to sign-off on this. I don't think Senator Harry Reid and the Democratic U.S. Senate Caucus can legally disallow the Honorable Roland Burris from taking his lawfully appointed place in the U.S. Senate. An independent journalist not beholden to a corporate boss or political benefactor, should approach Governor Blagojevich and request an interview. Thank you.
