The only way to really appreciate Barsoom is by examining the reality of a globe. Once mapped on a sphere, many things become clear.
The line of waterways up north become a very small ring of interco0nnected melting and pumping stations.
The forests and marshes suddenly form a pattern.
The true distances traveled by Captain Carter and others becomes clear.
Each of these globes shows the same view, past and present.
This shows a view of the Toonol Marsh.
This view is of the northern icecap. You cannot see Okar as the hothouse cities are well hidden.
as time allows, I shall add more views of the globes.
