The Choti He
In Urdu, the letter haa' (or in Urdu the "choti he") has different forms from the Arabic in all but the independent position.

Furthermore, any short vowels coming before the choti he in any Urdu word undergo a change of sound. A becomes E (Ehmad instead of Ahmad); I becomes E; and U becomes O.
