U.S. ARMY
MEDICAL TRAINING CENTER

Service Club Number Two at this Army training center is haunted
by a playful ghost. Since 1960, employees and guests have heard the
mysterious presence clearing its throat and watched as it opened
and closed windows. The ghost tampers with unmanned typewriters
and plays solitary Ping-Pong. Unexplained noises and musical sounds
similar to a flute have been reported. The ghost is such a regular
part of activities here that patrons have named it Harvey. In 1951,
a young trainee committed suicide by hanging himself in a small
storage room in the building, but there is nothing to connect him to
the manifestations that occur in the clubhouse.
