What is the real nature of death anyway?
Life and death are two parts of the same thing; the living are the dead,
and vice versa.

Song 8

SACRIFICE
BY GLEN CUTLIP

Sacrifice is revealed with spirit of the letter read. It's a living sacrifice, for the living are the dead. One finds life by losing it; its hidden in death, you see. Sacrifice and its substitute are one reality.
Thus there's neither sacrifice nor substitute sacrifice. The one is the other too, wisdom beyond any price. To die is to be born again, two parts of the one mind. The resurrection is ever a part of present time.
As the living are the dead, parts of one reality, There's neither life nor death, for the one as the other be. Sacrifice is not an unselfish thing as would appear, Life and death, one the other, neither cannot be made clear.
To lose unselfishness is to find it in selfishness. To lose righteousness is to find it in unrighteousness,, To give all is to receive all, sacrifice beyond price. To lose life is to find it; so where is the sacrifice?
