This is a selection of Bible verses, with pronouns adjusted and replaced by [your name], intended to clearly convey some of what Scripture teaches about who you are; truths about your past, future and present state. Some of the verses are the observations of writers of the various books, inspired by God Spirit; some are directly the words of Jesus, intended not just for his first disciples, but also for His disciples today. God treats us as individuals, he knows everything about us, yet he loves us and has made it possible for us to come into relationship with Him. We easily forget the amazing truths about our identity in Jesus, so it’s important to grasp hold of, and build our lives around them.
