I commend your efforts to disseminate information about the thirteen presidentsof our country. However, it would be a great idea if you add a human face on these leaders--deviating from the traditional postcard and textbook-based facts. I find some of your presidential biographies disturbingly euphemistic. Concentrating on minor achievements and ignoring severe government failure presents a terribly incomplete picture. For example, you mention Marcos' commitment toward infrastructure a d development, yet fail to mention the massive foreign debt liabilities left by his wasteful regime for future generations of Filipino poor to pay back. Looking at the sorry state of the nation today, I have trouble convincing myself that the $28 billion (debt value in 1986) did indeed go toward 'infrastructure' and 'development'. Your website is nicely constructed and presents a 'beautiful' picture of Filipino leadership history, however, ignoring a 'shameful' past is a step in the wrong direction.
