Whole Language V.S. Phonics

Those of us with teaching knowledge, have heard LOTS about this debate. Where do you stand? Why do you choose one or the other? I cannot take one extreme or the other. Instead, I prefer to use methods from both schools of thought. Vote below and let me know how you stand on this issue!
